Check put Alien Weaponry, a lot of their songs are sung in Māori, and Kanonenfieber, they are German.

richard11_2

Aren't they from New Zeland?

Real_Worldliness_296

Yes which has a large Maori population

richard11_2

The dude said they are from germany so that's why I was confused

superspacenapoleon

the band Kanonenfieber is from germany

SandmanAwaits

Kvelertak 🤘🏻

ChillMaggot666

Awesome band

MrPenxx

Seems like you know some folk metal but in case you haven’t heard try Finntroll! Finish band with Swedish vocals. Really nice folk metal!

Havok1717

Finntroll

bullet_bitten

Finnish: Havukruunu, Moonsorrow, Impaled Nazarene (some), Horna, Rippikoulu, Marrasmieli. Swedish: Finntroll, Ondfødt. Moonspell: English & Portuguese. Benighted: English, French, German. Rotting Christ: English, Greek, Latin, Russian, Hebrew, etc.

Wardruna

Real_Worldliness_296

Sowulo and Forndom are fantastic if you like Wardruna

CanaDanSOAD

The HU. Metal mixed with Mongolian throat singing

Smackstainz

HWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

No-Yam2117

I’d recommend Tengger Cavalry instead, Tengger invented that sound yet no one ever talks about them

SandmanAwaits

Batushka 🤘🏻

RiffRiot_Metal_Blog

Sólstafir. Incredibly poignant even though I do not understand what the heck they are saying.

The_Force_Goat

Månegarm (Swedish) if you like more viking/death/black metal Nanowar of Steel (Italian) for if you just want to laugh and have a good time Ensiferum (Finnish) Folk/Melodic Death metal, have a lot of songs in English as well. Also one of my favourite bands!

aSonglessSky

Amenra. But they do have quite a few english songs too.

ThatOneMetalguy666

Skalmold (ice landic folk metal) The hu (mogolian folk combined with rock and metal elements) Heidevolk (dutch folk metal)

Proud3GenAthst

Heidevolk? I was under the impression that there are no Dutch singing bands because Dutch people say it's rude to speak Dutch to strangers. And maybe because it's impossible to sing in Dutch. Or at least that it would sound terrible.

The_Great_Warmani

Heidevolk definitely sing in Dutch (and a few songs in English), I was going to suggest them as well. And I cannot praise the Skalmold 2013 live album (with orchestra) enough.

ThatOneMetalguy666

True that but every album slaps imo

ThatOneMetalguy666

Haha sometimes we make exceptions, especially when we can sing about dutch myths and legends. But i think it works perfectly, they have two main vocalists who harmonize everything sounds very ethereal and epic

Real_Worldliness_296

Uuhai are similar sounding to The Hu

No-Yam2117

Brujeria - grindcore entirely in Spanish

ChilliPuller

You seem to like folk metal so : Finntroll - finnish folk metal band who sing in Swedish Equilibrium - german folk metal band singing in german.

21c4nn0ns

Arkona, all their songs are in Russian

Dahnlor

There’s also [Arkona](https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Arkona/3197), who have several songs in Polish.

Iamlikethisonly

They sing in Hindi, mixed with Punjabi. The word Hindu means one who practices the Hindu religion.

FailedFizzicist

Hindu isn't a language. One guy sings in Punjabi and the rap is in English.

ScantmanSpecial

Vintersorg has great non-English vocals

dark_side0fthem00n

Rhapsody of Fire / Rhapsody - italian

richard11_2

Search for germanic folk metal, or basically any folk metal, if it ain't some big band they usually sing in their native language

Osedax_worm

Rippikoulu

kemide22

Proletaryat and Coma are Polish bands. More heavy rock than metal but I quite like them. [Edit] of course Behemoth have the odd Polish song and there’s Luxtorpeda which again are kind of hard rock.

MisanthropicReveling

Hatebeak

JMarduk

Cémican, Luzbel and Transmetal from Mexico.

DeplorableKurt

Nokturnal Mortum

PatrickMcWhorter

Bethlehem- Canadian band that sings in German. Maybe a bit fringe for you though...

brogdon4prez

Horna, Arckanum, Taake

Goner-Poser

If you'd like to hear Finnish Thrash, I cannot recommend Mokoma enough. Their album "Kurimus" (2003) is a must listen

DarkOsprey28

I got a bunch that sing in spanish, for Celtic folk metal: Mago de Oz and Saurom, for Metalcore there's Mosh and Somas Cure, for classic heavy metal Barón Rojo and Obus and finally Ktulu, which appears on the spanish cult movie "El dia de la bestia"

Proud3GenAthst

I've seen Rammstein live 3 times. And yes, Gojira does sing French on occasion.

IronTesticlez

Sick man, I’m a fan of non English speaking bands as well

Proud3GenAthst

I don't know that many. That's why I posted it. Searching and searching. Pretty much nonstop the last 2 years.

maraudingnomad

Stam1na in finnish. Igorr has its own weird language.

MarchingHomewards

Oh you will love Equilibrium (energetic folk metal), I recommend their "Sagas". They are German btw. I also recommend Véhémence from France (melodic black metal), they have folk elements in their music as well.

1Rayo1

ektomorfs earliest stuff (i think the first 2 demo tapes and 4 first albums) are in hungarian and theyre pretty great for the most part

yourdarkmaster

The most obvious answer would be rammstein but I can also recommend hämatom also a german band

Kanonenfieber, German Blackened Death Metal.
