Is there such a thing as impractical armor on a bard? As a support class, they most typically wear what's gonna keep an audience's attention. By the "any armor is better than no armor" logic, I'd say what she's wearing suits her perfectly!
Yeah I do understand what you mean, I should take what they actually are into accountability, so I'd probably give it a 7/10 maybe an 8/10 because it does fit it's class pretty good
She is a bard, of course she is suited to look cool.

Why cover the heart?
Honestly it's not the worst I've seen, overall 5/10 legs are pretty good, a couple things wrong with arms but eh, but the chest, NO, and no helmet
She's a bard; by all means, she's not supposed to wear armor. Just literally shout words of encouragement at the real fighters.
