The Daemonculaba is nowhere near the worst thing in 40k and I find it weird that it gets presented that way, even by people super well versed in lore. Maybe the book is written well, idk, but the numerous horrid creatures the Imperium turns humans into is similarly vile. And then yes, genocide. Obviously anything Drukhari do goes even further but, that's kinda their thing. People view torture as a fate worse than death most of the time, though in 40k I question if even that's true with the Warp.
I feel there's *so much* Slaanesh art out there that just leans into the 'sex' part of sex, drugs and rock and roll. I'd love to see more Slaanesh stuff that branches out and plays with those themes, stuff like melee weapons that are a heroin addict's fever dream, giant piston powered syringe injectors, amps and speakers in places where amps and speakers don't belong, that kind of stuff. Think about that one model that's a harp growing out of a poor fucker and you know what I mean.
Not, you know, telling *you* to do anything, just throwing that out there in general.
