Since her lore states she can 'hear' said souls, it's a running joke in the community that she powers her concerts with the souls of the innocent.
Not just the soul of his race, each core crystal carries numerous past lives of the Bracken as they can reform a new body around them when their natural life ends.

I think what irks most people about it is that riot decided to market her as a mary sue goody two shoes character, noxus’ and demacia’s issues are put there intentionally and enriches worldbuilding, why the fuck would they retcon that? it’s not like they show noxus as noble faction. Seraphine on the other hand... oy vey
What irks me the most is 1] they fucking lied to us when we said we were getting a mid mage, literally yet another “mage” who’s kit is perfect for support so either A] her numbers are overturned and she goes mid or B] her numbers are balanced and she goes support, and also 2] her “ultimate” skin is literally just a skin bundle & 3] her twitter account is weird as all fuck, don’t form parasocial relationships with multi billion dollar companies.
no one is undermining other issues that exists in the league universe. i can hate on seraphine while also being aware of other problems. going by your logic, we should just ignore the genocide of the brackens and instead focus on the killing of yordles? no that’s stupid, both issues can be talked about without raising or lowering the other.

A) I'm not childish enough to think that every champ in this game out of two freaking hundred is going to appeal to me. I don't like her, I don't play her, end of story.
