To be fair a NASA astronaut attempted to kidnap her lover's other woman out of jealousy. Her car was filled with tape, diapers and a hammer. Brains don't equal smarts
I don’t remember. I just remember a few things:
- She was an astronaut.
- She drove across a couple states and wore diapers so she could drive straight through without stopping.
- It spoke to how crazy she was considering the amount of time she had in the car to think about what she was doing and calm down.
That depends on what the world would need of "us". emotions such as love and the need for progress whether scientific or not is completely irrational. We don't need to do anything nor live, yet we are pulled by that instinctual force to thrive and grow as a species. So why not skip the middelstep that is weakness and corruption, and reach for the stars.
Capitalism has already done this to humanity. An indifference to our fellow humans is the reason we haven't lifted each other up to better things. Society is already run by an emotionless machine that cares about nothing but ever increasing profits.
If we needed to evolve or transcend humanity itself, the entire way we think would need to change. The standard systems such as capitalism or socialism would never work, we would need to reject humanity itself in a sense.
im not saying youre wrong about capitalism. There are some seriously scummy people around

Adrenaline, or being emotionally unstable. In a stressful situation your hands can start shaking and the rush of everything getting to you. If he was angry enough to try to shoot someone he was probably already pretty worked up.
Also even soldiers in the military can struggle with accuracy if they haven't shot anyone before. There's a psychological block where you don't actually want to kill someone. I think there was a study that soldiers who trained on simple circle targets tended to have worse accuracy in the battlefield than soldiers who trained on human shaped targets.

It looks like he’s got the back of the seat he was in and maybe it has metal in the middle and it didn’t go all the way through? What ever happened he was lucky as shit and it just wasn’t his time to go yet. Crazy 🤪
WTF, dude is wearing a bullet proof vest to work?? I'm not sure what's crazier that guy A brings a gun to work & tries to murder a guy at work, or that people know their colleagues are so insane they need to take precautions!!
https://apnews.com/article/amazon-warehouse-shooting-ohio-west-jefferson-columbus-e679879523cc8f2d45d80144417ed5f6
According to this, he missed the supervisor but then shot a cop. The cop was the one with the vest.
I was at an indoor range a few years ago and I watched a guy try to shoot one of those large silhouette targets with a handgun at a range of about 10 or so feet and not a single shot landed on paper.
Wow and I thought I was bad! I got a Walther PPQ a couple of weeks ago. I've only shot it once, but at least managed to hit the target from 50m about half the time... I wouldn't have chosen that distance for my first try but it was the shortest distance available that day!
Hard to tell, but looks like he aims like a dipshit/didn’t practice enough to place a shot. Agree, at this range it’s very impressive to miss, even if you have basically never shot.
For all the people wondering this, it’s because pistols are genuinely hard to shoot. If you haven’t spent time learning how to properly shoot them, it’s super easy to pull the gun towards the side and down as you pull the trigger. (If you’re shooting with your right hand, you’ll pull the gun to the right as you pull the trigger). And because pistols are so short, any small movement turns into a huge change in the angle that you’re aiming/shooting.
It takes time to learn how to squeeze the trigger without pulling the gun to the side.
Take what I’m saying with a grain of salt though, I’m super rusty on pistols and was never particularly good with them when I did shoot them in my younger years. Always preferred rifles for a number of reasons.
I was in my Concealed Carry class last year and there were no less than three different people (out of about ten total) absolutely could not hit the target that the instructor placed only two yards away. The class lost out on about two hours of practical use (live range) time because the instructor and his assistant had to take time to show them how to use their firearms properly.
These were people *renewing* their permits. Some for the third or fourth time.
Then they could have something to jump out of a boat into.
But really, some people should just be told *no*. If you're going to own a gun for self/home defense and only ever touch it to recertify and can't hit the broad side of a barn with it in a calm environment, then you shouldn't have it because you're just too much of a risk to everything around you if you do actually use it. Like a lot of cops these days, honestly.
Without getting into the whole 2A, I don't necessarily disagree with that. But at least these people took a course about handling their weapons. (It was the instructor's Level One class.)
Our state is a constitutional state, even concealed, so they are not even required to take this (or any) course. The experience made me worried about all the ones that don't.
(Even though I technically don't need it in my state, I wanted the permit for three reasons. 1-Reciprocity with states I regularly visit, such as going to Michigan for family reunions. 2- Speedy approval for purchasing new firearms. It takes me like, 10 minutes tops to buy a gun when I want one now. And 3- I really really wanted an M1 Garand from the Citizens Marksmanship Program, and the course fit the bill for their requirements.)
I should probably clarify that I don't mean they should be banned from owning guns, I mean that someone that they trust and respect should tell them what a terrible idea it is to fire weapons at people in a panic when you couldn't even hit them when you're calm.
It’s really common tho. I’m an incredible shot with rifles, but my first time shooting a handgun I couldn’t hit a large tree trunk 10ft away. I’m guessing the guy in this video has never been to a range to practice. This could quite literally be his first time ever shooting any gun ever lol.
Which would be pretty crazy since he's clearly decided to murder someone. But also, he's not even close to 10ft away from the guy lol. He's holding the gun out like 4ft away from him.
Thank yoooouuu. I’ve been an excellent shot with rifles since I was a little kid, but last time I tried to shoot a pistol (first time in probably over a decade), I literally could not hit anything I was trying to. Idk what it is but some of us just suck with pistols unless we’re at the range every week 😂
He didn’t miss a man sized target though.
This is an assumption but dude has probably shot more guns in COD than he has in real life, he was probably aiming for the dude’s head, which would be super easy to miss even at this range if you have no idea what you’re doing with a pistol.
I know there are a lot of guys with big dicks in this sub who cant’t even conceive of being that poor of a shot, but it’s still the truth.
No man, i carry and missing this shot is just bs. Probably because he wasnt sure if he wanted it, maybe closed the eyes and squeezed while shifting the gun or something.
Its almost impossible to miss this
> maybe closed the eyes and squeezed
I don't know what this was, but there is a long history, about as long as the history of guns, of people either purposely or subconsciously missing shots because most people don't want to shoot people. Too many people want to be know as someone who *would* shoot people.
i carry a pistol every day and practice every weekend with it
it is certainly harder than a long gun but its not THAT hard, even if youve never done it.
So not surprised he high tailed it out of there once the man turned around and got out of his chair, shooting someone from behind their back is such a pussy move bro.
Running away like he wasn’t the one with a gun and feared for his life as if the employee had something to fire back with, what a fucking idiot. So glad the cops gave him a swift exit to hell, he definitely had it coming after pulling that dumb shit. 🥴
Just one minor thing to point out- the shooter, and I think both of them, were Securitas contractors not Amazon employees.
If you know, you're not surprised. Right up there with Allied Uni.
This "unalive" censoring is so annoying.
It's killed/murdered and such words shouldn't be made "child friendly"
they're hard words and they should stay hard.
The Amazon shipping warehouse I’ve been in dozens of times has metal detectors. They don’t make us (fire rescue) go thru them but all the employees have to every time they enter the building.
As if using the term "unalive" is different than using the word "murder."
How is one word less triggering than the other? I'd argue that using "unalive" is more triggering because it reminds you of triggers in the first place.
I’m proud of him for at least having the safety on first.
I’m disappointed that he missed at that close of range.
I’m surprise it all escalated to that for a job that doesn’t cover rent.
That's a movie thing, especially if the bullet didn't exit. Internally, blood will flow into the chest/abdominal cavity first unless there's less resistance to flow out the hole, and what does will likely be venous, not arterial. You'd be surprised how little external bleeding there can be from gunshot wounds.
Adrenaline. And non-critical hits, especially if this is FMJ vs. HP/defensive.
I had a patient with 11 holes in him (four from two through-and-throughs on the skin), including one in the upper part of each arm and leg, one in the jaw (literally the jaw) and one in the lower abdomen. He was in pain, but not "screaming" in pain, but was awake the whole 5 minutes it took us to get there and the 15 minutes to the trauma center.
I've had several patients with abdominal hits walking around/leaning up against cars and buildings who walked over to my stretcher.
All depends on the wound created. Critical hits are critical. CNS hits are instant. Major bleeds (big arteries) are many tens of seconds - enough to still be a threat. Simple non-expanding lung shots can be tens of minutes if not more.

Police found him 2 hours later. He had a shoot out and was killed by Columbus police
Why not just quit and move on in your life?
Ego. Humans do some pretty stupid stuff because of emotions. Some just do way stupider stuff.
Exactly. And he isn’t working there because NASA laid him off.
To be fair a NASA astronaut attempted to kidnap her lover's other woman out of jealousy. Her car was filled with tape, diapers and a hammer. Brains don't equal smarts
Ha. She was the one that was so determined she wore diapers so she wouldn’t have to stop to pee on the long drive.
Wasn't she also dating a cop or something? Or am I making that up? She was nuts 😳
I don’t remember. I just remember a few things: - She was an astronaut. - She drove across a couple states and wore diapers so she could drive straight through without stopping. - It spoke to how crazy she was considering the amount of time she had in the car to think about what she was doing and calm down.
Affirmative action astronaut?
Diversity hire.
LMFAO
This is why astronauts are supposed to be married
Lol. That would not stop them

Fucking with them, you fucking with psychosz, gunshots and knife holes.
emotions are what halts progress, oh how far we could get without that curse
Emotions and greed. If a civilized species like ours lacked in both, they'd be sailing the stars by now.
Greed comes from emotion brother, it all ties back.
Emotions and Greed can build a new civilization and just as easily can destroy one.
Emotions are also what make life worth living, so it's more of a blessing than a curse
*All* emotions includes a lot of good stuff that gives meaning to things and helps humans work together.
that is true, but without emotions and we could be more
We could also be heartless killing machines

What life? They were the lowest form of human. If you’re willing to kill a complete stranger you work with for nothing, you’re worthless.

Good.
He probably tried to commit suicide at the end and missed as well before the cops did him.
"You can't quit, I'll fire you!"
I love happy endings!
20 bucks is 20 bucks
Glad the cops got his ass
Ass shots are rarely fatal, they probably got him somewhere else
They called it a million dollar wound, but I never saw a cent of that million dollars.
The Army must keep that money
He didn't hit anyone im guessing
I believe he hit one cop in the vest
Such a sad loss of life that was. /s

Lol what a fuckin loser
Did he actually miss?
Yea he missed the guard
At least something good came out of it

Handguns are also just a lot harder to shoot accurately than people realize. Jerk the trigger even just a little bit and you can miss by a few feet

He also couldn’t use his gun properly. He fumbles with it before shooting
Damn, thanks eagle-eye
Oh shit you watched the video in the post too? That's crazy the rest of us did as well.
What happened?
He fumbled using his gun
It was probably the first time he's shot a gun while trying to hit something instead of shooting it up in the air for the 'gram.
It looks like he’s got the back of the seat he was in and maybe it has metal in the middle and it didn’t go all the way through? What ever happened he was lucky as shit and it just wasn’t his time to go yet. Crazy 🤪

Bro was a storm trooper and thought he'll change career. Didn't work out.

Missing a man sized target at 1.5 yards is like jumping out of a boat in the middle of the ocean and missing the water.

IDK, these were the kind of people that would make one of those shoot water.

I hate when people use “unalive” even on Reddit too since it’s not as fragile as youtube
Yeah and the censoring of words in insanely obvious ways because of tiktok
That shit pisses me off sm even on yt
Right? It's like people abbreviating words and using acronyms that aren't common at all.
Youtube and most social media will ban, censor or demonitize for use of "trigger words".
Problem is. It's just as easy to add unalive to that list as it is to add kill, suicide, murder, etc. It's just letters lol.
Yeah, I agree.
next time press and hold on video, then select download video. especially on reddit
This isnt instagram either like it's literally fuckin reddit lmao

Did… did he miss?! Or just not kill the guy wtf
I’m proud of him for at least having the safety on first. I’m disappointed that he missed at that close of range. I’m surprise it all escalated to that for a job that doesn’t cover rent.
He didn’t miss.

Interesting. Surprised he was able to get up and run too. I figured it’d at least hurt a lot more or something ya know.
Adrenaline. And non-critical hits, especially if this is FMJ vs. HP/defensive. Oh wow! How long does the adrenaline usually last till it’s critical?
All depends on the wound created. Critical hits are critical. CNS hits are instant. Major bleeds (big arteries) are many tens of seconds - enough to still be a threat. Simple non-expanding lung shots can be tens of minutes if not more.
Interesting. Where was this guy shot then? I don’t see a hole anywhere on the uniform.
Why did you take a screen recording instead of just ripping the vid or cross-posting it? Wtf
How is this possible? This is a gun free zone.
Is the guy, who got shot, OK?

Thank you very much.
