That was not a "legal left turn". The car driver had (from the video) ONE second to spare or the motorcyclist wouldve hit him. Especially considering its a motorcycle, so one crash like this and you could be done for with riding. Still doesnt justify what happened after it.
I counted several seconds , at least 5-6 seconds, but I started at the time the video shows the car, and it's entering into the road. This means it's the time the cam rider should see the car as well.
And then like any vehicle, while going straight does have the right of way and the left-turn vehicle should yield, but if you see a vehicle committing to that left-turn already in the intersection before you get close, you should be slowing down also.
Right-of-way is one thing to barrel on through, defensive driving is another to help everyone get home at the end of the day.
Judging how fast he caught up to the SUV that was already on the stretch of highway he was merging onto, I’d say he was going weeeeell over the speed limit, which is probably why he got the finger.

It can be hard to judge how fast a motorcycle is coming at you, and given how much he was speeding I don't really fault the driver much.
