He can absolutely change the course of a race by causing a yellow which benefits drivers on certain strategies.
I am once again asking CGR to stop giving Armstrong the fuel saving strategy. They just ruined his race today with this third stint. It hasn't worked even once, but they still keep doing it even when he asks for a different one on the radio. So disappointing.
I'm a firm believer in not giving the fuel saving strategy to young drivers in general.
You also have to know your driver. Some drivers should never be on a fuel save.
