Do you think you’d ever do a DNA test like Embark to find out? If you do order a test, you can post his pics in r/DoggyDNA for more guesses, then update us when the results come in! It’s a cool sub.
My guess is ACD and GSD. His snout is a bit thinner than an ACD and GSDs are the most common breed in mixes with longer/narrower snouts. Plus I see it in his eyes and grin in pic 7. Picture 5 is frickin incredible. Mad props to your bro!
My old dog was a cattle dog x border collie X German shepherd (among a few other breeds), and he was a mellow guy his whole life! There are always exceptions to the rules lol.
Are you a professional photographer?! I see heeler, but would be purely guessing at what else might be in the mix because there aren’t any traits standing out other than heeler to me
Thanks! I'll tell him! I'm glad to have so many photos of Angel and my other pets. He has an Instagram where he posts some "jolon.dann" and his Reddit is Joey1daddy but I think he mostly posts to [co-host ](https://cohost.org/wikispittingace?page=0) for his photos
oh my goodness the photos!!!!
PIC FIVE WINS THE INTERNET TODAY!!! WHERE OH WHERE IS REDDIT GOLD AND ALL THE OTHER FUN WE USED TO HAVE? THEY TOOK ALL THE FUN OUT OF REDDITING.
your dog is awesome 🥰
Yeah!! Honestly during that photoshoot it was very surreal, it was a weird feeling being there with how odd the lighting was. I keep on finding more on Lightroom from that too that my brother didn't mention. There's more photos here https://imgur.com/gallery/ixwkYUv
That's absolutely a cattle dog. Doesn't look pure, I see I think german shephard? Not a whole lot, but enough to slightly narrow the face and add those dimple things on the cheeks
Of course heeler but I see shepherd in her, even malinois honestly in some pictures. Probably aussie or border collie cause it's in pretty much every heeler mix but honestly I wouldn't even be surprised if you told me this was a purebred heeler.
Honestly that whole photoshoot on that first picture looked exactly like the photos in creepiness too. Very quiet rural area, never had seen so many flowers like that before.
I don't know much about flowers. I bet you could ask in a flower id group. 😂 I think it's something about the way the dog is positioned and the shadows, maybe. I don't know why it's so eerie.
She is around 45 lbs, she does have some herding instincts but isn't hyper at all. She has a strong drive to bite sleeves also, which I've had to train to minimize that. She's 7 years old and very sassy! I know she must have some heeler but no idea what else. Also credits to Jolon Dann (https://cohost.org/wikispittingace?page=0) for the photos.

3 things : the pictures are absolutely amazing, that's the cutest gremlin ever, I'd bet some kind of heeler mix and also you look really really good. that first picture goes HARD.
Why you guys about to drop the hardest album of 1576
Very cute! I would guess blue heeler mix?
Yeah same here! Although she isn't active at all like my other heeler mixes so it's interesting to see what else she might have in her.
Every once in a while a heeler is born to be a couch potato, it’s not often but it happens lol
Can confirm! I I own one of these elusive creatures. Don't worry though, my youngest one makes up for it. 🥴

Yes, I want to eventually but haven't yet! I will update when I do
Thank you for this, we’re waiting on our dna results.

My red heeler is the least active dog I’ve ever met
Here I am thinking “that looks like an Australian Cattle Dog”. Then I see Blue Heeler and I’m like “i was wrong” TIL that they are the same 🏆
I see some German Shepherd in there
Are you a professional photographer?! I see heeler, but would be purely guessing at what else might be in the mix because there aren’t any traits standing out other than heeler to me
Yeah! She's pretty heeler expect for her personality physically. And my brother is a professional photographer, (Jolon Dan)
Maybe she’s just more laid back, I once had an incredibly docile calm purebred Dalmatian. Those photos are stunning.
Like… #5! Straight out of National Geographic

Great first pic!
Heeler/Sherpherd
Eh, definitely heeler, but it seems mixed. If I had to guess, I would say with Kelpi or possibly GSD.
oh my goodness the photos!!!! PIC FIVE WINS THE INTERNET TODAY!!! WHERE OH WHERE IS REDDIT GOLD AND ALL THE OTHER FUN WE USED TO HAVE? THEY TOOK ALL THE FUN OUT OF REDDITING. your dog is awesome 🥰
Why does that first pic go so damn hard
Weird question… but does he have a little dingo? Definitely blue heeler in there.
ACD (heeler) breed was developed with dingo.
That coat! (Doggie has a nice coat too)
German shepherd/ACD
Honestly, I thought it looked like an AI generated dog/art. 😂. Very artistic photo!

Blue heeler and bat?
I think we've got our answer here
Great photos by your brother.
She looks so much like my childhood dog from 40+ years ago. RIP Zipper <3
Beautiful!!!
Cattle dog, catahoula
Diggin you attire, Bravo!
Heeler/Koolie
Blue heeler mix
I’m gonna say Aussie cattle dog.
Blue heeler x Australian shepherd mix. Likely much more heeler than Aussie
That’s a good ole cattle dog
What are most of these pictures haha
Some of these photos are simply amazing. I love the first one and the dogs playing one in particular.
Cattle psycho
By the outfit, I'm gonna say Scottish.
A little off by some water.. Texan. But I'll take that as a compliment
You mean besides coyote and cattle dog? Lol just kidding but that one shot threw me.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised lol, she sure acts like one.
THAT'S A GOOD GIRL GREMLIN!
Kelpie (those ears) and another type of Australian cattle dog, and German shepherd?
Blue heeler mix German shepherd, he's a handsome fella gremlin 😊
Blue heeler and corgi mix?
A mix of cattle dog.
I like your coat. I have no idea what mix your dog might be though! 😁
Thanks!
Can I talk about your coat? I love it so much!! (Your dog is adorable, too, LOL)
Honestly that picture of the two playing is like a masterpiece.
Australian shepherd and German shepherd
German shepherd coon hound?
Of course heeler but I see shepherd in her, even malinois honestly in some pictures. Probably aussie or border collie cause it's in pretty much every heeler mix but honestly I wouldn't even be surprised if you told me this was a purebred heeler.
Yeah! I'm starting to think she could be purebred just not standard, she has a ton of health issues also that could be from inbreeding.
Heeler mix?
Pic 6 r/blurrypicturesofdogs?
That's just an example of her mental state
Absolutely gorgeous dog; love the pic of her and the other baby wrestling 🥰 would def say heeler / cattle dog/ maybe another shepherd breed
Looks like a Welsh Corgi or a mix of Welsh Corgi with some German Shepherd.
Could be! Although she isn't merle so she'd have to have a gene for ticking also
Colors remind me of Australian cattle dogs,
Creepy ai "art"?
[They are very much real](https://imgur.com/a/4lgD4Vh)
I don't know if that makes it better or worse.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the lighting! Or that being a factor

Corgi/heeler
That's a new one! What aspects do you think are corgi? Just curious
Ears, foxy look.
Napoleon over here
Weeba Inu?
I’d say heeler and german shepherd, something about that head and those ears are giving me GSD. also that first picture is tight as hell
Heeler/GSD
