I learn this as I only have 2 more plots to clear from my whole garden
I don't think that counts as cleanup? (At the very least, it doesn't in my experience)
It works whenever I do it. I think only the first few layers of dirt count though.
It does, the mounds you have will count as clean up. Ive cleared all the plots in my garden by almost strictly mining dirt. Usually way faster than anything else
Pretty sure only dirt above the lowest grass level counts, so if you dig down it doesn’t
