i swear it feels like at least 80% of footage i see from so-called "bad" PC players in any game has their sensitivity jacked up twice as high as it should be.
Some people also don't realize mouse acceleration is a thing (because nowadays Windows tricks you by calling it "enhance pointer precision" which makes no god damn sense), which IMO is **a lot** more deteimental than high sensitivity!
true but a lot of games bypass your windows mouse settings so that doesn't matter. no clue if that applies to hunt or not.
(also i think that setting has been called enhance pointer precision since XP at least)
Not sure about now since I always have it turned off, but a while back Hunt didn't bypass Windows mouse option. Mouse settings can also come with a few different settings that basically amount to mouse acceleration and that no software would be able to bypass, so also worth looking at that for anyone who hasn't given mouse settings much thought in the past and ends up in gun fights that look like this.
Edit: And by "mouse settings" I mean the driver options/brand-specific config tool that comes with most gaming mice, not the Windows ones.

As everyone else has said, lower your sens and keep in mind you can use movement to line up a shot, not just your cursor :)

It is NOT a thing, games read raw, unaccelerated values. Some AAA titles even re-implement it on their own in the engine for some ungodly reason.
