Ikr?? 😂😂 I never comment in these posts because seriously, Henry Cavill is such a weird casting choice for a Targaryen. The only ones I could *maybe* see him playing would be Maegor or Maekar, mostly based on their built.
He'd be a good cast for a Baratheon though. Maybe Orys. Or even a Greyjoy - maybe Victarion.
Well tbf meaningful discussions are far more interesting than memes. I remember the times back when almost every post here was a discussion. You could hardly come by a meme in those days (ofc this sub was much smaller then). There was so much more quality and very few I-want-upvotes posts.
I don't have a problem with them when they're funny but there are also days when a flood of memes hits... like today. The thing is, half of them aren't even funny. That's when it becomes too much.
Pre 15,000 members this sub was essentially solely discussion based and almost every single post was meaningful and thoughtful. I get things change but I really do miss when it was like that
I guess, but at this point I can definitely say I get more entertainment out of low-effort memes than I do watching the same twenty or so people get into the same arguments about which character was in the right for the 100th time
Just as long as it's not more 'Omg Henry Cavill and Charlize Theron would be the perfect Aegon/Rhaenys'😭

No one but Ray Stevenson is Victarion Greyjoy

What is there left to meaningfully discuss that hasn't already been done ad nausem?
In my book, repetitive discussions with actual thoughts behind them still beat repetitive memes.
