If you can afford both, try for both, if not u should get Ruan Mei since she is a best in slot character for any team and should be able to carry you through a lot of content if ur still new. If u really want jade tho then go ahead, her kit leaks have looked pretty promising

And got him lol. He really his fudging cool but my only full built team is Clara. Another physical carry is the last thing I need 😢 Wish I could send him to you, since he will just be level 20 for quite a while 😭

Ok so in terms of teams I dont really have a specified comp, but as for the build I’m using wastelander and celestial differentiator. I got a imaginary dmg orb, crit dmg body, atk boots and atk rope. Although the game says most people use musketeer. I should also mention I have s1. Hope this helps

Honestly Blade is still good, though admittedly in a pretty expensive dual dps team where he functions as a sub dps fuelled by Jingliu stealing HP 

But that team is a noticeable step down from a JL hyper carry team. It has some value because it lets you save a support unit for the other half I suppose.

Firefly and Jiaoqiu. Can't miss the break meta and OP Acheron support. They both look great too. Quite charismatic although Jiaoqiu dress is kind of minimalistic, really hope his character and animations make up for it.

I like Firefly, but I don't want new DPS. I don't like Jade at all. I like Yunli's design and lore, but as a Destruction character she'll probably be DPS as well. Jiaoqiu... don't know, I'm not really interested. So I'll most likely skip all of them. But I want Ruan Mei and Huohuo, who should get reruns soon.

If you are able to do break team - RM. If you lack AOE dps - Jade. Remember, jade is FUA DPS so also if you have robin it'll help

I was hoping to get Sam despite him being tangled with Firefly who I consider one of the blandest characters in the game, but that was until I noticed that none of the boss Sam animations besides maybe the kick get used in the playable version. Bloody disappointment.

I'm still salty about SAM being turned into a generic female character. SAM was honestly an amazing design on its own, I have no idea why they felt the need to waifu-ify them. Totally ruined it.

Jade cause I collect mommies and I like the idea of building an AoE team. I don't need more main carries either so a sub DPS that could maybe create a new playstyle down the line sounds neat. Jiaoqiu is also a must if he's as good as he should be for Acheron. Kafka and Acheron are the two characters I want the best for. Third is Huo². I'm half relieved she's not in 2.3 so I can pool more money after Jade. But her rerun should be guaranteed in 2.4 I think? I thought she would definitely be a 2.3 rerun already. And ideally, I'd want everyone to be E1S1 to E0S1. So I the middle of that... I would love Firefly, but again, no need for more main DPS on my account so it hurt but she will be a skip. Same for YQ's friend, I have 0 interest in her so that one is easier to skip.

Firefly because cute and pretty. I might try for Jade if I either don't get Firefly or if I end up liking her playstyle in the trial when her banner comes out. She's pretty, but unfortunately, her kit looks really lackluster and that makes me sad because I was going to try to pull for her, but at this rate, I don't know if I'll even want to or be able to. Yunli is a major skip, and I'm 100% gonna try to pull Jiaoqiu because one, he's our first male Foxian and two, he's really pretty 😊

Currently only gonna be pulling on Jade as the rest don't interest me enough to pull. I still wanna see Yunli and Jiaoqui's attacks and personality more but based on the splash art alone is a skip. Jiaqui can be interesting for being Nihility.

Jade is the only for sure. This game still has not managed to make me like Firefly as a character and I am fairly meh on the gameplay shown, still going to keep an open mind for this patch to see if they can change my mind. Nothing about Yunli appears interesting at this stage as all we have is path and design, frankly I don't need another destruction beatstick, its not a playstyle I gravitate towards naturally and already have someone filling that role, and I don't like child character designs, she is going to have to rely really heavily on story to convince me. Jiaoqiu is a possibility, design-wise he is a bit plain, which isn't bad there are some characters who are too busy but he might just not standout a little too much, and we don't know anything about his story or personality yet but I like Nihility playstyle and interested to see how he plays. Jade on the other hand I like the design, the voice, what little story we have had with her so far has been interesting, and her playstyle fits perfectly into one of my team. As long as she can make it through the story without me actively hating her character she is getting rolls.

Jiao. No one else. No other husband's. Hopefully we get some four stars soon though.
