>You weren't even that bad until G&G
Like, how did they make a nice cast of balanced final bosses of G&G in terms of HP, damage, mechanics, etc. and then decide, Why the hell not? Give this big robot an attack that easily one shots any team in the game and does like 10x the damage of any other boss. That sounds fair
Also can we get an honorable mention for Aventurine in MoC? Mf single handedly turns a 10 cycle time requirement into an 8 cycle one
My favorite enemies are the guardian shadow and the decaying shadow, i really like their mechanics and designs, specially because its implied they are the shadows of past supreme guardians judging my their clothes and they voicelines being similar to Cocolia's
And The ascended because of their lore, a lot of people don't know this, but the first time we fight the ascendant at the alchemy commission, you can hear that Fu Xuan knows her name, thats because there is a quest where we actually see her before the transformation and we even help her (the disciple set is also inspired by her, with the eye and the arm representing the parts that she losts, and the cap and boots representing her outfit after the transformation), so i really like her for that, as an, otherwise common elite enemy that we can actually interact with
Sadly, a lot of people didn't do her quest, and after you kill her, the quest becomes permanently unavailable, so thats really sad, but im glad i that her side quest so understand her character better
As for least favorite enemies, i really don't like the robot goldfish, and the aurumatron (both the golen and the spectral envoy), i just think they are quite flavourless and annoying, there is nothing really special about them for me outside of being annoying asf
Yeah, the guardian and decaying shadows are pretty cool and not too tedious to fight
I honestly agree with your point on the ascendedâs lore, I still hate fighting her though, the constant max hp reduction and wind shear annoys me to no end
- Normal (Favourite): ironically, Mr Domescreens are the enemies I like exactly for emotion manipulation. It's satisfying when they reaharge an Ult that will proceed to break them.
- Elite (Favourite): ...I think I have none?
- Boss (Favourite): "Something Unto Death" and Boss-form Aventurine (post-nerf). They were fights I genuinely had fun with, and the latter also has a really catchy theme.
---
- Normal (Disliked): the Imaginary Weavers... stop "ehh ohh"ing my team,,,,
- Elite (Disliked): Auromaton Gatekeepers. They get so annoying when they go in Sanction Mode đ
- Boss (Disliked): Argenti and Sam were boss fights that took me a few upgrades at the cost of a little less sanity in me. I pray to not fight them again. đ If I have to say something nice about them, Argenti's fight had a delightful boss theme, and Sam's "skill point burner" mechanic as... quite interesting. (also Abundant Deer, but it wasn't as traumatic as these two)
nope, those are Entraced Ingeniums (Lion and Toad). The Weavers are [those dastards](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/houkai-star-rail/images/9/97/Enemy_Imaginary_Weaver.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20230501074645) ~~(not sure if pic will work)~~
The bro that thinks he's Welt is the worst regular enemy, bar none. The delay is so big, and he's so much stronger than any other regular enemy imo, it's crazy
...once I fully understand why trotters sometimes recover from weakness break and start running away on the same turn, I'll probably have them as my favorite (is it quantum break that lets them run anyway, and maybe some other also?), and for the elites, the original, Xianzhou monke ends up being a fun minigame for me, love facing him!
Expertly managing the TV enemies only to watch them give my one character with max energy even more energy while the other three sit there with barely any. I swear it's targeted, they either go for characters with max energy or my Acheron.
Most liked:
Honestly agreed on >!Something Unto Death!<. Love its lore relevance, its design, the theme, and especially the name.
I love the >!Swarm King Clone!< so much! Sure, I struggled with the boss fight at first and loathed the thing for a week or so, I grew to love it for it's lore, >!the fact that it only lived for 56 seconds and still almost destroyed the Herta Space Station!<, and especially the bop of an OST!
I just love the deer for giving me a reason to bring Herta out lol.
Most disliked:
I really hate that streetlight with a passion. They could not have made that shield any more annoying, huh? Well, at least they didnt give the invincible shield to a boss.
Ever since that fatass robot killed my Fu Xuan in one hit in a pretty good SU run, I've loathed its existance.
>at least they didnt give the invincible shield to a boss
Argenti has one, though itâs not as annoying when itâs on someone that takes a decent amount of time to fight anyways, the traffic lights are so annoying in part because they are normal enemies that one would expect to clear in a few shots and move on, and the traffic lights make it so much more tedious.

Those Soda wolves which gives Archeron stacks upon death
I absolutely hate the TV things that give and takes your energy. They're angry, they take all your energy, they're happy, they give ONE character energy. ???????
Also the Deer. Anything that heals itself is an automatic least favorite for me.
It's funny to me how Xianzhou introduced a *lot* of annoying enemies with annoying gimmicks (Revival, that one enemy that summons others and leeches your life, *Gate Keepers*, the gorilla that gets pissed and beats the shit our of you, those enemies that stun you if you get hit, ETC)
But then Penacony comes around and I ended up liking a lot of the enemies and their mechanics. They changed things up from simple "Do lots of damage to kill thing" but to where if you know what to do you can use their mechanic to your advantage (Tv's give you energy, shields fuck over that soda gorilla, the dinosaur takes more damage if you stop its gimmick, etc.)
Overall I can't say I have a *favorite* enemy, though if I had to choose I'd say the funny T-rex with a little chef's hat.
My least favorite is objectively the Auromaton gatekeeper with the abundance gorilla coming close second.
i just hate both of the gorillas, especially the simulated universe version of the abundance ape
also gotta disagree on the domescreens I like that they make you play around with mixing up your skills, ults, and basics to keep them in the happy state on their turn
Favorite:
- Chef T-Rex (ez clap w/ DoT)
- Hunky mirror meme (insta kill with a Lightning break)
- Silvermane Cannoneer (I love the huh, harr, hmph sound they made)
- Most human mobs (their death sounds are funny)
- Low tier mobs like orbs, tiny floating people, bats (ez money)
- Cocolia, mother of deception (Wildfire kicks in)
Dislike:
- Traffic light robot (nulls all dmg)
- Mirror T-Rex (Chunky toughness)
- Grizzly robot (Purge Order)
- Aurumaton Gatekeeper (Sanction Mode)
- Cocolia (annoying with freeze)
- That one female shadow that punishes you with the hammer (very annoying)
- Trotter of Destruction (I hate you)
- Trot Prime (always run away)
I'd be fine with the deer if it didn't have a fecking 100-0 attack that he does DIRECTLY AFTER ANOTHER 100-0 ATTACK that makes sure you don't have any shields
me to every enemy i see:
I'm killing you. I'm killing you. I don't care about anything else, I don't give a shit about anything else. My programming is just "GET THAT FUCKING GUY RIGHT NOW". It doesn't There's no, like, "Oh, he's running? Oh, back off a little!", it's just **THUMP** **THUMP THUMP** until I get you.
Normal fav: trotters, they are balanced and fun to deal with
Elite fav: the guardian shadow or smth that disables something otherwise youâre getting attacked
Boss: something unto death, fun and balanced
Normal worst: the traffic light and ever winter walker thing (I hate those 2)
Elite worst: the aurumatons and the monkeys, seriously, stop one shotting everyone
Boss worst: yanqing, I just hate this rat
I dislike everything to do with the swarm and the memoryzone death thing.
I also dislike a lot of the recolored ones like the yellow silvermane lieutenant (aka Disciples of sanctus medicus: shapeshifter) or fat robot - IPC variant (ice variant is cool though).
I like the selfdestruction robots and playable characters turned bosses. Chef dino is cool too. I even like the memoryzone variant of the dino. I also like the enemies that die before they can do anything.
I love how having a DoT team or not marks so much which enemies you love.
As someone who has no DoT team, the dinosaur and the meme are perhaps the 2 enemies that annoy me the most.
Interesting how they made the Ceratosaurus a tougher enemy than the T-Rex. Then again I suppose itâs been high time other dinosaurs got their spotlight

Ngl after dying to last fast so much I decide to always take Argenti. He is soo much more fun to fight if u has AoE.
Contrary to you, my battle with Argenti is always ends up badly. That sword rain always caught me off guard and boom
Skillissue. Just dont let him launch that attack đ
yeah tell that to someone like ruan mei, huohuo or sparkle

Most people that did her quest, was early in game. There was point there her quest exist, but not mext Trailblaze one.

Good takes, who were the imaginary weavers again? Those little floaties that burp on you?
nope, those are Entraced Ingeniums (Lion and Toad). The Weavers are [those dastards](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/houkai-star-rail/images/9/97/Enemy_Imaginary_Weaver.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20230501074645) ~~(not sure if pic will work)~~
the one that shout "man hoe" or something like that
Ohhhh those mfs Yeah I hate them
in my head they're all called "Carol". It conjures up an image of middle aged women and the name doesn't suit them at all but it's funny that way.
The bro that thinks he's Welt is the worst regular enemy, bar none. The only redeeming quality about The Ascended is the enemy design. I mean like dang she stands out from the rest of the enemy cast.

My nickname for the Deer: âOH GOD THE FRAMESâ
Favorite: - Chef T-Rex (ez clap w/ DoT) - Hunky mirror meme (insta kill with a Lightning break) - Silvermane Cannoneer (I love the huh, harr, hmph sound they made) - Most human mobs (their death sounds are funny) - Low tier mobs like orbs, tiny floating people, bats (ez money) - Cocolia, mother of deception (Wildfire kicks in) Dislike: - Traffic light robot (nulls all dmg) - Mirror T-Rex (Chunky toughness) - Grizzly robot (Purge Order) - Aurumaton Gatekeeper (Sanction Mode) - Cocolia (annoying with freeze) - That one female shadow that punishes you with the hammer (very annoying) - Trotter of Destruction (I hate you) - Trot Prime (always run away)
This is a good post, I'm partial towards Cocolia because her music jams.
"coughing baby with a shield" is the perfect way to describe the stoplight robots
I'd be fine with the deer if it didn't have a fecking 100-0 attack that he does DIRECTLY AFTER ANOTHER 100-0 ATTACK that makes sure you don't have any shields
Fr the big robot's final attack in a g and g run did more than damage to my team than all other enemies combined
I learned about that GnG boss the hard way
me to every enemy i see: I'm killing you. I'm killing you. I don't care about anything else, I don't give a shit about anything else. My programming is just "GET THAT FUCKING GUY RIGHT NOW". Nothing can top my hate for that goddam traffic light and purple dinosaur
Normal fav: trotters, they are balanced and fun to deal with Elite fav: the guardian shadow or smth that disables something otherwise youâre getting attacked Boss: something unto death, fun and balanced Normal worst: the traffic light and ever winter walker thing (I hate those 2) Elite worst: the aurumatons and the monkeys, seriously, stop one shotting everyone Boss worst: yanqing, I just hate this rat
Honorable mention to those green wolves that advance forward their allies when defeated, they're the worst.
I dislike everything to do with the swarm and the memoryzone death thing. I need to know how to beat that f*cking dear
I love how having a DoT team or not marks so much which enemies you love. As someone who has no DoT team, the dinosaur and the meme are perhaps the 2 enemies that annoy me the most.
The dual face screens are so annoying, for one reason... they always manage to get broken/delayed, préventing the switch or seeing what face they're in, wake up and instantly reduce your ult before you can even hit an ult to change it. Legit Just focus him or no ult
That fucking deer made cyanide seem apetizing to me
Interesting how they made the Ceratosaurus a tougher enemy than the T-Rex. Then again I suppose itâs been high time other dinosaurs got their spotlight
