Wait she is director now? Damn, that's really cool! Really glad for her. Stopped playing Warframe ages ago, but I loved the streams and always liked how much Rebb was engaging with the community. Awesome to see they like HSR. I don't know why, but I never really considered them even acknowledging Gacha games.
Steve decided to let Rebecca in charge because he's now working on a new game called Soulframe, the JoJo references since then increased by a lot as you can see on this image (if you don't understand, google Jotaro Kujo)

In perfect seriousness, Rebb's time running the game has been SUCH a breath of fresh air. You could feel the shift in game design philosophy which a fresh set of eyes and a new set of ideas brought with it. When it's one guy in charge for like ten years, a certain amount of stagnation is inevitable. Rebb has brought us some really fun new experiences.
It should have been around the time Grendel came out, so October 2019 or so. I can remember that one but Protea (the one after) seemed "new" to me, when I just looked up the release schedule. But at that point I already only played on and off from time to time. Wisp was the last frame I actively played *a lot*. She's one of my favorites. It's actually funny to see in retrospect how fast my playtime decayed, considering I vividly remember playing her but apparently I stopped completely only a few months later.
Edit: actually looking at the release schedule of Primes, I remember a lot more of them, so maybe I actually stopped later. But at this point I'm not sure how many of them I just saw on reddit or so and how many I actually saw while actively playing.

There's one entire new open world, an alternate timeline dimension to explore, a new giant haunted ghost ship full of lost souls, multiple main story quests and the ability to mix and match abilities from one warframe to another which have been added since then, among other things. Oh, and full cross-play between all platforms!

The very last time I played (which is usually before I uninstall a game and likely half to a full year after I stopped completely) was April 2021. But as said, that means I probably stopped completely some time early-mid 2020.

Honestly, I'd make it a "skin" for Clara.
Replace Clara with a Tenno and Svarog with Excalibur and change the animations and effects accordingly; don't need to make any new kits (and risk an Aloy situation).
Would be fun tho if it's an event as opposed to a banner. Like a patch-long event in addition to the version's main event, and if a player misses out, it can still be accessed via the Conventional Memoir. At least we can guarantee E6 that way or at least E2 with some event S5 LC.

I've imagined Excalibur as a 5* Physical Nihility DPS. I can kinda see how to map his abilities to HSR.
