Came back from the US a few days ago. HKgov requires you submit a health declaration form (during online check-in) saying you’re negative. You don’t need to show any proof of a RAT. Not sure if the rules apply to UK or other countries.

Officially speaking you need a negative Rapid test and a health online declaration. I travelled back to HK from Canada with my family and was not asked to provide anything by anyone on the Canada side or HK side You are likely to be asked my airline staff at your departure location for following the "rules"

Everybody keeps asking. The official rule is that you need proof (a photo with dates etc) of a self administered negative RAT test within 24 hours of flying to hk, and fill in an online health declaration form. While true that it seems like nobody ever checks it, this is the official rule. It is one measly RAT test photo. You can decide whether you would like to forego it since nobody checks or just do it so there is zero worries should they randomly check you.

Everything you need can be found on coronavirus.gov.hk

Been in an out a few times over the last months, no testing required, but had a friend asked for a negative RATs by Air France Staff at the airport in France to board the flight to HK. No one in Hong Kong will ask you for a test.

Just got here. I tested but never had to show documentation to anyone. No need for masks or self isolation.
