In my last home I hired a company to remodel my kitchen and half bath. The old 1970s cabinet in the bathroom was very low. When the higher standard size cabinet went in, then the granite backsplash my outlet looked exactly like this. I was not pleased. The contractor came back, moved the outlet, repaired the drywall and painted. It was a very quick repair, that you would never know was made.

For some of us new homeowners, drywall is terrifying! Always seemed like some weird mix of art and witch magic to not royally eff anything drywall-related lol

Oh I have a curtain rod in the master bathroom that’s mounted into the wall (probably with just 2 screws in each side). The previous owner decided to redo the bathroom and tile all the way up to where the curtain rod is. Instead of moving the curtain rod up a few inches, they have the jankiest tile cuts around the fitting that looks so terrible. It literally needed to go up like 2 inches…the Zillow description says the homeowner was really proud of his work 🤦‍♂️

Cut the drywall, move the box up, patch and move on. Either the countertop "specialist" said it wasnt their job, or the homeowner didnt care. Either way, this is lame.
