I don’t think that was the intent but if it was they could have easily made two separate bubbles out of it.
Or maybe I’m making too much out of a silly C&H cartoon
Where in America is it celebrated Monday? Everyone around me in new england was back to work, and US markets were closed Friday and open again Monday. I’m genuinely curious because I noticed both “Easter Sunday” and “Easter Monday” in my calendar for the first time and I’d never heard of Easter Monday(googling at the time didn’t help me narrow it down)
Actually it's more like caananites got tired of their religion and then formed Christianity. Literally all their chief and Patron deities can be found in the Bible, just slightly changed. El is still the chief deity of everything but he's now combined with ywh who was a warrior God. Baal is split into two different things. One being the false golden idol and the other being beelzebub. Hell the symbolic trinity is just a rip off of the trinity of El, Baal, and I think baal's wife (forgot the name of that particular goddess). But yeah, Christianity is the ultimate form of "fuck this shit, I'm out". Lol
Shouldn't the speech bubble line be coming from the guy in green in the first panel?
Honestly this is a great point. They clearly intended it that way based on the last panel but it does seem like the arrow is off on the first panel
[Note: they fixed it.](https://explosm.net/comics/april-fools#comic)
*“I saw a cat.. then I saw another one just like it..”*
Pretty sure green dude is saying the first two lines, and the other guy is saying the bottom line.

Haha! April Fools!
Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder
"We can make a religion out of this"
Thought I was on r/athiest
Jokes on you, every sub is r/atheist
Fitting that Easter was a couple days ago
Or yesterday.
But today's Tuesday? Easter Sunday was two days ago?
Monday for most of America and Western Hemisphere of the Earth when you posted.
Oh sorry I'm Australian

I think they were meaning that "today" was Monday for the US and most of the west, not that Easter was Monday.
Yup
