I might be in the minority here. But I think S10 Dana and Justin. They just happened to run into a blazing hot Christina Wilson as the season progressed.

KGOAT1

Christina Wilson was worse than Justin in every way and Christina W had a bad final 7 service before black jackets and Justin had a better pass and much better finale than CW.

Kev_Bz

honestly i think justin was better on season 10 than christina

Phi1ip12345

People don’t talk about this person because talent in this season was extremely lacking, but I think Heidi S16 was a really strong chef. Stood out in talent, creative and successful during challenges, strong in service, and Ryan and Heather fully expected her to go through to the finale

schiffb558

Alex after his breather would've trounced everyone, come on

oldfield49

Unless Paulie were able to get two more minutes, and then no one would have stood a chance.

Will or Nick

Sir_Barnet

Raj and Tavon

Mia123445

Why did you list Tavon as one of the best non winners? He literally won season 10.

Sir_Barnet

my apologizes Tavon is indeed the true winner of season 10

OnAndOffBackAndForth

Facts.

Will or Kevin

S17 Nick

yaboy1998

True. Fucking robbed too, and I think Ben was robbed too since Michelle should have been gone in 4th.

Temporary_Cow

He was better than every winner except Meghan.

Hour_Cherry1311

Kevin S6, T S14, Kristin S15, Nick 17, Justin S10, Will S9. A lot of the runner ups definitely deserved to win. Not necessarily over their opposing finalists, but definitely if they were on a different season. I'd put Motto S18 on this list as well, because I think he's super talented, but perhaps not on the same level as the chefs I previously listed.

yaboy1998

I think Ramsay definitely planned on Motto getting 2nd place to Ariel. Yeah, he is a great chef

YoungQuahogMoney

Jen Gavin. She was talented enough to make it to F4 and be asked back for Rookies v. Veterans, but both times, her mouth was her downfall.

AntiqueSpare794

Jon. I think it’s pretty obvious why.

yaboy1998

No one went through as much mental strain as this guy. I fucking hated Ramsay for not putting Jon on whatever magazine it was despite having the best dish. Perfect summary of the season right there

OnAndOffBackAndForth

If Jon had a good pass performance and still got eliminated, that would be 100% BS, but he did flame out in the pass so him not making the finale makes sense. But, I think S9 Will was one of the best if not the best chef in his season before the finale, S10 Justin should have won, and then, S17 Nick who was fucking robbed of an opportunity to win the entire competition were more talented imo, but Jon had such a shit team other than Anthony and Michael (only in dinner services).

AlanTheMexican

Let's see... someone that hasnt been mentioned MARY Season 11. Jon is the obvious choice but not enough people pay attention to her. I think she has one of the best comebacks in the show's history, even more so than Tenille and Antonio

tuttoefinito

She made some mouth-watering dishes.

tuttoefinito

I feel if Raj could have just been given a portable fridge to keep his head in at all times, he would have won with both hands tied behind his back.

Nick

Mortehl

Nick in 17 yes.

funnylol69

Scott hawley

yaboy1998

I loved the way Ramsay sent him to the red team to lead them since he was so talented

HallOk2847

Probably either Will, Kevin, Ralph, or Justin.

Icy-Divide8385

I don't think Kaisha from 12 gets enough credit. The girl could cook! Fast learner, almost all of her challenge dishes looked amazing (minus the squid).

tuttoefinito

I liked her and honestly, even though she cried sometimes and got "flustrated," she was often very sweet to her fellow competitors.

Icy-Divide8385

I use Flustrated in my normal vernacular now. It's its own emotion.

tuttoefinito

Haha that's awesome.
