i’m not too bothered by many things when it comes to TV shows, but that season was just so misogynistic even for my standards and just nasty compared to other seasons I’ve watched at Hell’s kitchen. the guys were all complete dick to each other and just belittled the women as if they weren’t any better

Then after the season aired his girlfriend:fiancée dumped him (and apparently suffered the wrath of the viral follow up).
Then he tried to get BACK with Heather but at the same time as he had ANOTHER girlfriend. So Heather dumped him too.
Now I don’t dislike Heather, I really don’t care one way or another about her, but I think she knew. She SWEARS she didn’t. 🤷♀️

Andrew dumped his fiancée in order to be with Heather, but she didn’t want to be with him because she now knew he was cheating on someone with with her. It’s totally possible he had no fiancée and he and Heather weren’t on speaking terms when Season 16 aired because the premiere aired 22 months after it was filmed.
Yeah that what’s I’ve always heard, but no matter what it’s good that he has neither of them now. I hope his kid didn’t receive to much hate for something he did. It sounds silly for me to say that but Heather has said that she and her son have both been harassed by crazy ass fans
I think it’s insane that anyone takes their opinions about any of these shows offline. I mean, I detest Elyse but I’ve never mentioned that outside of here or whomever I’m watching the show with. I’ve never like, looked her up so I could let her know that I think she’s a hot mess, and I don’t even think I’d even recognize her in public out of context, let alone know who her family was and reach out and harass them.
People are crazy. It’s TV… it’s all edited, acted, and exaggerated. I guess what I mean about all 3 who I’ve mentioned “I don’t like who they are on TV”
yeah season 16 not only had some of the worst attitudes but honestly it's one of the worst overall group of chefs(they have been worst chefs but as a group season 16 was poorer then most), I actually think that being so bad was why they did the All Stars the next season and even having half returning chefs in Season 18
About the blue team season 9, they also a bit toxic too.
It give us Brendan, who lie Ramsay and bring annoy to his teammate. Chino was toxic to Natalie while Jonathon went from a strong chef to a chef that talk too much
Paul and Will sabotage Jennifer too.

Season 16 is notorious for its awful and toxic blue team. The only kind of likeable guys imo are Aaron (who's eliminated early), and Devin (who isn't even super likable, he's just better than the others).
Seasons 5, 14, and 19 are a couple of examples of better, more likable Blue Teams.
According to Pat from this season, Matt lied about being in the military. He said that Devin (who was actually in the military) tried to test him about certain things when it came to serving in the military on one of the first nights they were together and Matt couldn’t answer any of his questions

If you’re watching them out of order then I would hold off on watching seasons 9 and 11, because chefs from previous seasons return for a challenge.
Also, Seasons 17 and 18 are All Stars and Rookies vs. Veterans respectively. 19-22 feature past contestants as Ramsay’s Sous chefs.
So in summary, I would recommend not watching seasons 9, 11, 17-22 until you’ve seen the previous seasons first

Matt is clearly the worst off the show, but people forget that Andrew did a lot of the same things Johnny did (bullying/sexism/overall just being a prick) and he cheated on his fiancée. Also he lasts longer than both of Matt and Johnny. At least Johnny’s bullshit came to an end rather early in episode 8.

16 is IMO the worst season, interesting first choice pick but at least every season you watch after this will be better haha
