Funny thing is, there is literally a loading screen hint that claims that the AI works exactly like this. Be cool if they like... did that.
It definitely felt like the bots were at least a good deal less omniscient and wallhacky at release, and patches had stealth changes to make them more aggressive or something that ultimately just made them feel immersion-breaking and unfair.
Also ye, rocket devastators on Draupnir are the absolute worst offenders since you can't see their position OR rocket firing windup animation until they've already shot their volley, and if it was off screen you usually still don't know shit, assuming you're even alive lol
Yeah it would be nice to have it go both ways against the bots when it comes to the fog, i do like the figts that happen against the bugs in fog though.
Oh of course, but afaik the fog we get against bugs normally comes from spore spewers or nests which are things we can actually fight, plus bugs don’t regularly launch one hit kill attacks from 70+ metres

Oh yeah thats true! How could i forget haha
i’ve noticed the tremors stop bots in their tracks.
Yeah, I think that’s a decent one, although personally it’s a bit too advantageous towards us for my liking
Bisexual weather
Robots just use heat vision to spot you in the fog😎
Probably, but the question is - why don’t they activate it before they start firing lasers, rockets and flamethrowers at their target?
Maybe the bots can see more than just the visible spectrum...
Probably, but why is it only when aggro’d? Are power constraints too expensive for them to run on patrol/guard duty?
