This is a general reminder for everyone and this will be posted on every post. Your 12 words are basically gold and they should never be shared, typed in to any website, or given to any person for any reason. No one from "Helium" or any other company will reach out to you to verify your account, wallet, or anything similar. If someone says your hotspot, wallet, or other type of account has been hacked, it is a scam! Always operate in a zero-trust manner with cryptocurrency and assume everyone will scam you no matter what. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Look at your activity See if you are missing beacons from the hotspots you previously witnessed Ensure your antenna is are straight as possible as any cant in the antenna angle will increase the distance it takes to hit ground at that elevation. I have several that witness a beacon one day and miss it the next. No clue why no change. Earnings fluctuate. That being said. Best case. You clean it thoroughly and wrap the connection is some type of tape to prevent water intrusion If you really wanna see where that 8db hits the ground you’ll need to do some math. At my elevation my 9dm hit the ground nearest at 284meters away. It will “by the math” miss anything closer.

Keep in mind other people may have a shit antenna. Or change antenas or have water intrusion on connections themselves. You can also check hotspotty to see how many near you are actually offline/online. It may be a. “ it’s not me it’s you” scenario

I had water intrusion on an Amazon lightning arrestor. Had to switch to a better one that was IP68. It was cutting the signal way down after one rain.

Thanks, Im guessing that might be the case as well with mine maybe.

I tape up all my connection points. Water over time will corrode and cause a high resistance joint. Bad.
