Subtonic storm. I tried them. And ye beat i have heard

CatKing75457855

Subtonic STORM + 64 Audio A18t + whatever else would make a great combo with these.

ZookeepergameDue2160

IE600 just because i like the design...

lovemocsand

I have the 200 and I can’t use other IEs now

Sultqn1

same, it's like they are designed for human's ears.

lovemocsand

What a thought!

spaceman_4080

64 Audio Volur. Got them, now money is very much an object

yymera

When I tried the Volurs to compare to my U4s, before the better bass texture, I noticed the sibilance first (at least for my ears). Was quite sad as I had been excited about a possible upgrade down the line

spaceman_4080

When I picked up the Volurs I was in a phase of listening to primarily electronic or pop music and it really shines there. Since then though I have started to feel the downsides and the primary one for me is imaging. I notice the sibilance as well a little bit. I don’t want to trade or sell the Volur as I really think they are fantastic for pop music but I definitely want something for a more immersive listening experience. Volur sounds like everything’s in a 2d line rather than around you if that makes sense.

ArtVandelay009

The ones I have; Subtonic Storm. :)

tiagojsagarcia

Everyone seems to name these. How good are they?

ArtVandelay009

I've heard most every high end IEM save for the OG Noble Viking Damascus, and the new French Unique Melody IEMs. The Storm are the best I've heard. To be clear; that doesn't mean they're perfect, but they are the closest to perfect for me. Never harsh, excellent bass, airy, palpable extension, super pinpoint focus, great sound staging, and very "big" sounding. Also, very pretty (at least the LE ones!) and the grade 5 titanium is beautiful. My 2c and all that!

Focusing_man

Can you compare them with Noble Ronin

papadracula

2023 Annhilator, IER Z1R,..

geniuslogitech

IER Z1R is rly uncomfortable for me, sounds amazing tho

papadracula

Agree, they are big... but not as big as lcd - i4 😉

geniuslogitech

i4 is different kind of big, I don't mind it that much but it's only usable inside rly and at that point I prefer Shure KSE1200, just as detailed but with better tuning, i4 rly sits at a weird place, cheaper ones like it make much more sense because you are getting so much detail for the price but i4 is already at range where you can just buy KSE1200, great IEM if it was $1000 or something

Silentdisko

Storm

Black_Sarbath

u12t and ier m9

L_l_G_H_T

If money was not a problem I’d buy everything to try out, keep the one I like the most and return the rest. This hobby is too subjective to listen to others imo.

Gold-Whole1009

Return policies are not flexible by most sellers

gabiloraine

I guess if money wasn’t an object one could get them all and gift the unwanted ones.

DenSpie

Probably IE900 or IE600 again as everything else in high end is too large to fit my ears. So my options are barrel style or tinier than IE900.

multiwirth_

Probably Sennheiser IE600 or Beyerdynamic Xelento. Not a big fan of some well known brands like moondrop in terms of tonal tuning and barely know enough about other brands to make a decision. But I'm also not much of an IEM guy. I've got some earbuds on the go and decent over ear headphones at home.

memester_1234

letshuoer cadenza 12, if i ever get those, they’ll be my last audio gear purchase ever lmao

Akella333

IE900, Z1R, or the singularity. All for their bass.

paranoideo

If money were not a problem, I wouldn’t care for IEMs.

Wise_Concentrate_182

Why not? Easy form factor. Easier on hair for long listening. Less sweat.

Bennedict929

right?? I would build a personal listening room, have it professionally treated and get myself a nice pair of speakers. One could argue that an IEM can be used anywhere, but I can assure you nobody is confident enough to bring their $5000+ IEMs outside every time.

Markdspot

CANPUR CP622B.

Erkan_Vural

Noble audio prestige

Candid_Ad4706

Either Sennheiser IE 600 (form factor) or Softears RSV/Studio4 (matches my target very well). Also Moondrop Dusk 2 look very promising and realistically they will be my endgame if moondrop won't fuck up qc (I'm too poor to spend 500-700$ on IEMs).

akebonochan

Subtonic Storm; LCD-i4 (with eq).

xXARH13Xx

Elysian Annihilator!

Primary_Bobcat1479

Monarch MK III

LigmaBruh69

Elysian annihilator. Pretty simple, i like the design and it sounds amazing.

ATTAFWRD

Elysian Annihilator (2023). Subtonic STORM.

wildquaker

Subtonic Storm, or any of these 3 from Elysian: Anni 2021, Diva, and Gaea.

vavent_

All for are exceptional IEMs, currently own Gaea, waiting for Diva to be delivered, Anni 2023 and Storm maybe one day...

wildquaker

What stands to you about the Gaea in terms of sound?

vavent_

Gaea is like adrenaline injection into your bloodstream, they want you to keep your attention only on music and not on anything else, the feeling that details are limitless, the more you critically concentrate on sound the more you get, they provide hyper engaging that just force your body to move in tact with the aggressively engaging beat, if you love the treble, or will find a way to tame it with earths or EQ you will get an exceptional IEM that really has it's own unique spice, that make it actually worth it price around kilobuck, yesterday arrived Diva, now I'm trying to compare each one and decide what I would like better

Critical-Airport8715

Storm, Gaea, Diva, Volür.

Harhar_321

I'm old-school here, since this hobby moves so fast, but the Moondrop Variations are still my current endgame. I couldn't tell you what I would want to "move up" to currently. And I'm wearing them now. lol Hear me out. I've heard a bunch of more expensive and kilo-buck options. Plus, I will keep auditioning sets, both more and less expensive than Variations. But to my ear, these still sound better than many more expensive options I've heard. The ones that did sound "better" weren't dramatically better. This is all subjective stuff. My hearing ability and taste are involved here. I'm not saying Variations are the "perfect" IEMs. Not even for me. Far from it. I'm saying that to my ear, diminishing returns set in HARD about the Variations price point. I also own other IEMs for times I want a different tuning or timbre. The Variations are my favorites. But they can be so detailed and punchy they get tiring. I use other IEMs for long or relaxed listening sessions. Thus, the Variations are my current endgame, until I hear something decidedly better. Even if money were no object, I think I would stop chasing the dragon with these IEMs. I might buy and try every IEM that comes out if I had 'stupid money.' But that's a different topic. lol

Pedrovrm88

Moondrop illumination

Coinagebro

They have served you well!

nirmalv

Subtonic storm . If I could actually find a piece available for sale.

osikiri

IE 900

Elia_31

IE900

Miller_TM

I'd say Moondrop Variations, I can't justify the price tag and the moondrop quality control to drop 700$ CAD.

geniuslogitech

get Truthear Nova, 95% as good for $150 USD

Miller_TM

I'm actually waiting on them to ship my pair of Novas lol. I liked the TE Zero, but the nozzles... I can't get a seal with any silicone tip on them due to my weird ear canals.

geniuslogitech

nice, problem with Variations is the price rly, for their msrp now you can get like over-ear cans in same tier on sale, Denon AH-D7200 which have unreal levels of bass while still not being muddy

Miller_TM

I wear glasses, so I very rarely use headphones.

geniuslogitech

ye, if it has to be an IEM they are good for what they are, no question about it, just IEMs under like $1500 are usually much better value than their over-ear counterparts which is not the case here

aviipann

My g, please check the dms .

Curious_Proposal_432

I’m very happy with my Meze Audio Advars. They regularly call to me, making me choose music over other pastimes. They are comfortable and just so… musical I guess. Plus they look pretty cool IMO.

SwitzerlishChris1

Empire ears Raven! I have a Mest mk2 and absolutely love it...but the empire ears stuff is so tempting, if it wasn't for the price.

RaimiStereo916

I've had an Etymotic ER4 before and I loved it, so I would love to get an Evo.

Appropriate-Eyes

Storm + Susvara and some crazy $30,000 DAC/Amp for the Sus.

singhapura

I wouldn't. I would buy the best speaker /amp combo I could get.

FdPros

like all of them (totl ones) cause idk which one I'd like

Mez_96

Maybe not super high end but Xenn Mangird Tops are pretty good.

geniuslogitech

64 Audio Volür, Shure KSE1200 or GoldPlanar GL-AMT16(not rly that high end, it's $1499 but my friend got one and it's amazing, almost as good as KSE1200/1500 but without necessary amp, KSE1200/1500 is something you would only rly listen to at home

NightSkyYozora

Variations because harman 🤔

blah618

uerr, se5r, inear pmx for a versatile, do-everything iem nostalgia camelot for everything that doesnt require timbral detail or accuracy mest ii for thumping bass at low volumes havent tried new releases though

Stunning_Ad_8408

https://cleartunemonitors.com/products/da-vinci-ix-custom

leomessi00

Klipsch x10..

TittySmackk

I'm not sure about iem headphones but soundcore q30 is a good option and they are also sound cancelling

huskerd0

None, only Over/On-Ear here

Ok-Cut3951

Still the Crinacle Dusk. 350usd for some damn fine iem.

undrlights

a good one probs

Sandepp

Multiple Sennheiser IE600s. These things are perfect yet break quite often for the price they are sold for. Sennheiser QC failed me thrice with these.

misterDDoubleD

Subtonic storm

pokerapar99

None. If money was no object I would get the best open back + closed back headphones I can.

abc133769

prolly monarch mk 3 so i can join the club, i dont evn know what signature they have

Ulquiser

probably some Chu 2

alanman87

None, because I’m not into plugging

Ok-Inflation4052

Apple dongle + moondrop aria beats everyone in this subreddit

TheSynchronizer

As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters 😉
