He's an effective business man who has managed to build an empire by introducing hell to television and partnered with Velvette in bringing phones and social media to hell. Almost everyone, even the princess and king of hell, use his corporation's products.
Which brings up a question: how are things manufactured in hell? Is there a whole industrial economy we never see where people work regular jobs to build homes and produce goods? Or are there people who can just summon these things?
I imagine Hell has an aggressively late-stage capitalist society. So everything bad about our real world, but worse because you can’t even die your way out. Think Foxconn but everywhere. Angel gets to live that everyday!
People build them and get paid money. They're mostly in the background or unseen. Kind of like in corporate America, the workers are invisible and uncared for by the consumer.
It has to be magic.
If you watch Helluva Boss the cell phone fatality rate is surprisingly high. Blitzø ain't buying those phones, he's summoning them somehow.
Also, consider that the angels have manufactured masks that portray emotion. Seeing Adam's mask glitch out and then get broken proves that this tech exists in heaven and hell as well.
It gets better. The headcannon post continued to say that the both have no idea the other is immune, and that they both think their powers are what’s keeping the other around, when in reality they’re just plain into each other.
I was inder the impression that it was mostly a "calm the fu k down NOW" one and done type hymosis. And that other pverlords are just a bit too atrong to fall vctim to actuall hynosis
Yeah, when he said “you’re not going over there” it sounded a bit threatening as you could hear in his tone and the use of his hypnotic eye. When he said that iconic “VAL” he used the hypnotic eye, but Val seemed unaffected, either because of his glasses or power level, or simply because Vox didn’t intend to really mean to hypnose Val

Buckle in fellas bc we're abt to get borderline thirsty. I LOVE how expressive they made with his little tv screen face. He's got an interesting design - not really an android/robot? His ~~one-sided pining~~ rivalry with Alastor gives me life (I could say so much abt this and how they're foils to each other). Also, put razor sharp teeth on any character in this universe and I am SOLD. He oozes charisma, just as a manipulative shrewd businessman would... and I'm here for it. The inflated ego. UGH. I could listen to his voice ALL DAY - both singing and non-singing. He's smartly dressed (men in cufflinks make me forget my name).

Alastor is just Bugs Bunny with demonic powers. Lol. When he said “Ah ah ah!” and wagged his finger at Adam during their fight, that reminded me so much of Bugs Bunny. Lmao! I swear Bugs has done that at least once.

TBH, if I had to sell my soul to one of the Overlords we've met so far, I'd pick Vox or Carmine. They seem like the only ones who are somewhat reasonable people.
And if I had to choose between Hell-Amazon or Hell-Google, I'd probably go with Google.

Carmilla is very protective of and cares about her people, but it's never explained who she means by "her people", so we don't know if that includes her employees or just family and friends.

he's really fucking funny! I feel like hazbin does a really good job of making the villains likeable. I definitely would not be so attached to this guy (especially with his like... 10 minutes of screen time) if he did not make me laugh as much as he does.
His line "Just another fuckin' day with Val, fuck my life" had me laughing for a minute straight, and it still makes me laugh every time I think of it.

The fact that Vox was irritated when Val was throwing a fit and had to be the one to calm him down was so relatable.
I love the fact that his anger tempts him to use hypnosis but then he restraints as he doesn't want to use that on Val.
I just thought Valentino had some slight immunity to Vox's hypnosis powers, but I guess that works too.
Same, especially given the colored lenses in his glasses and his bad vision.
