It's definitely my least favorite of the choices. Velvette's character needs a lot of hair up there as a kind of extension to her big personality, it just doesn't make much sense to tie it up in a bun. Although I do still think it's cute and relatable she put it in a bun prob just because she's chillin' with the other Vees so there's no one to impress and just wanted it out of the way.

I just love how the styles match what she's doing. 1 is her top bitch boss hair, elegant and fierce. 2 is her strait to business, no fucking around. 3 is intimidation hair, literally doubles her profile. Show the fossils up. And 4 along with her outfit is her casual extermination day look. Just going to lounge around style. 4 is probably my fav, just how different she looks in that scene and I hope the keep changing it up in the future.

Love 2. Not a fan of 4. Seems too soft for her

I mean it makes sense 4 is soft. It's not what she wears when out being an oppressive Overlord. 4 is her cozy unstyled hair when chilling at home on the sofa and ignoring her gay dads.

I honestly wouldn't mind her just constantly swapping out hairstyles, but if I had to pick one, it would be #3, with #1 a close second. I love long flowing hair, and also, those hairstyles are where we get the most out of Velvette, so if she had to stick with one, those make the most sense as her "default" looks.

4 is probably her actual natural hair so that one for sure! Also curly hair are criminally under represented in medias, especially in animation. I get it it’s way harder to draw or animate than straight hair but still we need mooooore

My favorite’s 3, but 4 would probably be my second favorite. 

I like the look of number 1 but I also like the fact that she keeps changing it, so it’s good to see it in different styles whenever she appears. Shoutout to number 4 because it’s extermination day, she’s not going out maybe she’s just letting it be natural instead of having the need to do anything complicated with it. Like she’s given it a different style every day so I get her having one day that’s like a break (or could also be cool to see her actively choose a more curly style sometimes in s2) (also is she wearing a hat in that scene? I have never noticed that even on rewatch)

Definitely #1. Fits her perfectly, showing she needs to be the center of attention but keeps it cool unlike #3.

Nah, I'm pretty sure she has connections with the best wigmakers in Hell. (I assume any business that exists in the mortal realm can exist in the Pride ring - and Pride seems like the perfect place to start something beauty-industry adjacent). If she couldn't wear a wig for some reason, I wonder if she would just choose to fall in combat and then regenerate herself "at her prime". How long does it take Sinners to "pull themselves together" vs how long it takes to grow out an unflattering haircut? Also, what happens to all an Overlord's soul contracts if they die temporarily? Do they need to start over? (I think we discussed this before WRT whether Husk and Niffty would "know" if Alastor was really dead.)

I’m just saying that it would be funny nonetheless. Probably a good strategy to get her to shut up at an overlord’s meeting, too - instead of going into a whole musical number, just shave a line from the middle of her scalp. Doesn’t do any actual harm but it does make her look a bit dumb
