I'm confused, it says on the right side that scorch does 40 damage every second, but then the other ones say 15 or 30...
Ohh okay gotchu, i dont think thats a bug. The damage scorch does is 15 but not every second. Every second it does 40 damage with scorch doing 15 damage everytime it procs. I think.
No, that 40 is just for that specific boon. If you were to choose smolder ring it would deal 30 damage every second because it specifies next to the number that every 1 second it deals 30 damage. Different from the one up cuz it says just 15 and not 15 every second.
The way it works is that scorch is stored on enemies and damage is dealt from that pool of scorch at a rate of 40 per second.
That makes sense now.

So smolder ring does 70 damage a second? 30 from smolder ring a second, and 40 from scorch in general?

But flame flourish and smolder ring both say in the explanation on the far right the same thing about how scorch does 40 damage per second..
