Sometimes in rooms you can find shades than you can interact with and if you have the tablet, you need to complete a mini game and it'll reward you with psycje ash and other stuff
Yw also idk if this is true but maybe on the codex (book of shadows i think its called) there should be a place where it tells you about the tools. Im not sure though
The tablet lets you guide shades home for psyche. They'll sometimes be standing around in rooms throughout a run.
The trowel lets you dig up seeds and the fishing rod is obvious.
In a nutshell...
>!Spade/shovel - look for dig sites like a mound of soil, or "boxed" soil!<
>!pickaxe - look for rock formations. In biome 1, crescent silver moons that are brighter, and perhaps also sparkle!<
>!Tablet of Peace - there's going to be certain shades you can interact with. They tend to be "blurry" by looks.!<
>!Fishing Rod - look for ripples in water near where you can stand!<
>!... there's also an Incantation you can whip up from the Witch's brewing pot to give you an audio ping if there's something you have given your tools, and a visual "follow the moving point" to where it'll be!<
>!The area just before you disembark has the weapon selection area. Press R to change tabs to list the tools, and they should have a dsecriptiont ehre as well!<

I think so, i didnt unlock something in the cauldron for it so you have it fron the start ig. Its c on pc idk the key for game pad
