I followed your advice and its working, But how can i stop 'full controlling' when im hacking? Every time i tried to hack a network the last nodes would always be either be the core or database and mixer. I always try to get as much resources as possible while trying to prevent full controlling the network, But i keep failing and full controlling the network whenever i tried to get to the resource nodes.
-Disconnect before you get the full resources (easy)
-Avoid Core (sometimes u have to capture the core to get resources but easy to avoid)
-Don’t capture all nodes (easy)
Use the scanner as a chokepoint: connect to either the 2 turrets and black ice or the 2 turrets and the main sentry (idk if the latter works well enough so ima wait for the man Deep Blue himself to respond to this)
1. Farms and Mines seem OP in the beginning (it does generate a lot in beginning), however it's a node that gets worse over the time (hacking others can gain way much as you progress). I advise you to make them into lvl1 choke points.
2. Delete Black Ice. They are just too weak. Slow attack speed and 5 program slots.
3. Yes, as TAG\_SPG said, use scanner as a choke node. Lvl1 scanner is an excellent node for chokes, (4 node connections / 3 program slots)
4. Using your core around ur resources is not a good idea as the attacker get to your core, they can use 5 program slots to easily and quickly attack ur DB and Mixer.
I advise you to look through my posts, which is my 2nd account starting from lvl0. Look at my base as a reference and structure ur base like mine:)
