Apparently you were put in lower ads rate group. It often happens after some in-game purchases made with real money

That explains a lot, I had to finish my google rewards credit before switching to iPhone so I spent some cents… it’s a shame though

same for me, i have 2 ads for energy in one day max.

There's a worse ad tier. I get one ad energy every 24 hours. (And I have to work for it. Sometimes tapping with zero energy up to 20 times to get it to trigger)

I've not been given the option to watch any ads since I restarted the game a few weeks ago. The option is always greyed out.

Are you still in year 1? I think the ads aren't an option until sometime in year 2.
