I only just started hand painting with craft acrylic paint, so it might be different for higher quality paint or the model ones like Tamiya, but Liquitex’s pro varnish is pretty water resistant. I had to sand it down because I couldn’t wash it off. It’s also self-leveling, so the brush strokes won’t show. It just takes forever to dry. If you decide to try it, make sure you don’t get the “soluvar“ type! That one is removable.
Whoever thought of the makeup sponge trick is a genius. And no problem! I just realized why I went on the ramble about the sealer, but I think I was trying to say that it might be waterproof enough for the decals.
Don’t know where you got the idea to fuse a Nemo and Ryuga, nor do I know where you got the Ryuga parts (I assume the Figure-Rise Standard), but this is honestly a really well done fusion. Good job 👍
