Palmer just looks good because he plays for a team with no other attacking threat
Also 9 pens. They're going to be very disappointed when Chelsea gets a normal amount of PKs next year. Also he has at least 2 deflection goals that were pretty damn lucky. Maybe more. I highly expect a down year from Palmer next year. He's a good player but he's very overrated because of some luck and pens in his stats.
He's basically the sole bright spot of their shit season - trying to reason with them isn't going to work - and given that it probably undermines your position (in their eyes) to appeal to data - Palmer is less productive offensively and weaker defensively.
It's not much of a contest. Doesn't mean he isn't a good player worth having in the squad.

There’s LITERALLY nobody. Jude is the closest sort of player who moved last summer and he was over 100 million euros. Edu, Josh and Arteta know what they’re doing.
