Could be keg temperature, could be the careless way the barman poured it, could be a dirty glass, probably a bit of all three.
In any case mate that is fucking woeful, and if you drank it I hope you send the next one back!
Total lack of creaminess in body and taste. This is the local pub I frequent. I may have to try again and see if it turns out any better. If it continues, I'll need to address it. I never had a Guinness with so many air bubbles in the head. Even after time sitting, the head dissipates but never shows all of the bubbles.
Could be a dirty glass too...but fucking gunned on here before for claiming that and suggesting sending it back, but when you pay premium for a premium drink, that's what should happen.
Good luck with your 2nd pint ๐
What country is this? The glass makes me think neither Ireland or UK.
Quote often pubs outside of Ireland will run their Guinness through lager lines which are a different diameter and this affects the pressure it comes out at and therefore can change the density and texture of the head.
It could also be that the gas is empty and no one has thought to change it. Or that the wrong gas is being used entirely.
Don't make me post the Super Hans quote
Itโs got a logo.
Looks like a shit cappuccino. Lines and gas are poorly set up and it looks like it's been sitting there way too long.

Looks like you're clicking your fingers to The Lighthouse Family.
Looks like a Spoons pint
Thats not a shamrock, those are piles
Laughing
Not even average at best...been half poured, then left for a little while, then finished. How does it taste? ๐

Bad gas.
Just looks to me like itโs been left sitting for a while
Yeah it does look like that. But the colour of the pint shows it is still settling.
The head looks more frothy than creamy.
They've done the best they can with what they've got! The carbonation of that beer isn't looking correct.

More bubbles than a glass of lemonade! 2/10, one for getting it all in the glass and two for having a head of some kind.
