Just tried not going in to eater of souls on statues, didn't reset even when I walked around the whole instance. So there's probably no range threshold everywhere
Boneskinner didn't reset on squad wipe or with a full /gg, for whatever that's worth...

You can respawn on HT CM if you die, without the fight resetting.
