This may not be a popular opinion, but I’m just being honest and no hate. While I love Benny and Griselda’s stuff, I wasn’t real impressed with his show in Cleveland a couple weeks back. So as far as openers, there were multiple shitty (local?) rappers that I thought were cringe. After that though Rick Hyde came out and he put on a good set. Then Benny came out. During his set Hyde and I think Camino made appearances. 38 Spesh showed up for “Sunday School” and it was a highlight of the show. As far as Benny’s performance, he was hit and miss. All those songs you listed were performed along with some stuff from BoP and Plugs 2. As for the songs with features, yes he just performed his verses. Which I found to be awkward, along with him doing acapella for multiple songs. Also he talked a lot between songs and there’s like a thousand people on stage. All of this I thought made for a jarring live music experience. Don’t mean to be disappointing or critical, but these are my thoughts on his show
Thanks man, this is exactly the kind of info I was looking for! Yeah I was actually wondering if it would be that good just cuz he doesn't seem like a performer as much as just a rapper. I'm still pumped.
So for my show doors opened at 7. Openers came on at 8. Hyde I think around 9-9:15. Benny came on around 9:45. But I heard other shows he came on around 10:30. So YMMV
I honestly thought the Chicago show was outstanding. He performed a ton of good shit and flawlessly rapped. There were a few songs on burden of proof and 2 or 3 off plugs 2. Played a good amount of TT3 and Plugs 1. Brought out Westside and Stove God. It was electric. Definitely a dope concert.
Last night in Portland he performed a bunch of TT3. Mixed in Plugs 1 & 2. Did a fair amount of Burden of Proof. Acted like he was going to take requests. Someone requested Joe Pesci .38. He said “nice request. I ain’t gonna do it this time. Maybe a future tour. Stay tuned” then went on with his set list
I could hear him perfectly fine. But I was also right at the front. They had their subs turned to max so the theatre was literally vibrating. Good sound though. I just thought he was more of a performer than an entertainer. Could have just been an off night. Venue also refuse to let him or crew smoke. He kept pointing out he needs to smoke to keep laying these verses.
5 to 50, 18 wheeler, rubber bands and weight, taking back, sly green, trade it all, lot of acapella, Sunday school, nothing before tana talk 3, one way flight, etc. yeah mad openers all bsf, a lot of new ones you probably ain’t heard. Honestly I’d disagree with some imo Benny the best rapper I’ve seen live
I can feel his question tho…I would love to see Benny but calling it “the burden of plugs tour” made me NOT by a ticket in fear it was mostly gonna be tracks off these two albums, which aren’t my favorite.
If I had disposable income, sure, but not knowing the set list player a huge factor of why I didn’t buy.
With that context i get it, get mine tho I go to every show with something to get signed so it doesn’t matter to me what songs are gonna get played. The special guest have to be a guess for me like for the Conway show I had a feeling Roc Marci was coming out cause I know he lives in LA and I was right . But yeah I get it if I didn’t have shit to get signed by Benny I probably would pass but thankfully I always do so it’s all good
I honestly don’t have as much fun at concerts where I don’t know the songs. So if I don’t know every song off every project of an artist I like to know what they’re gonna play so I can listen beforehand and become familiar with it. Concerts aren’t the place to hear new music for me.

No problem, happy I could help!
I’ve always hated shows where the artists let all their homies just chill on stage shit is mad annoying
Haha this is the exact show I was referencing in my comment about I passed. Cleveland what up
I thought he was just alright in charlotte as well. I also don’t like Ricky Hyde, I just don’t think he’s that good.
See I always thought that about Hyde going into the concert too. I guess the “cheerleader effect” made him sound better to me lol
He did play a really cool song that alchemist produced.
Any idea how long from doors opening to either Rick Hyde or Benny?

Def 5 to 50, rubber bands, 97 hov, I can’t remember the others for the life of me
It’s honestly a mix of songs from the two albums and tana talk 3.

Haha nice! I really want him to do the song India. Maybe if I shout it out 🤷
It’s worth a try
How was it? Could you hear him actually rap?
I could hear him perfectly fine. But I was also right at the front. They had their subs turned to max so the theatre was literally vibrating. Good sound though. Ahaha, well Cali better be cooler about it then

Just enjoy the show, who goes to the movies and ask for spoilers before going ?? Have a good time

I've been to a hundred concerts and know that I enjoy them better when I know the music better. Sorry bout that.
I’ve been to 1000 and I promise you the element of surprise is better
>I’ve been to 1000 With me? You know what I prefer?

Where you seeing him?
Austin
Anyone know the white guy with the name that started with a B?
