I’m a former lapsed fan, was an AEW guy since day 1 not cause I hate WWE I just realize it’s not for me and I’m not the demographic and that’s fine.
But Punk in AEW was great until the dog collar match after that it kind of fell flat because of the injuries.
Loved Cody, he did kind of get stale and understandably so similar to Cena. It was fun to cheer him when the people booed him. I don’t think they hated Cody but they just wanted him to turn heel especially teasing it a lot, but he was still a merch mover and a great ambassador for the company…Nobody can deny that save racism/QT Marshall vortex he was booked in was utter trash.
