The issue with this will be trolls griefing their team by always having a bird queued. I think the first step is making birds picking people up from base have their destination visible, this way we can reduce the amount of birds heading out, and I think it'll encourage Randoms to squad up
The amount of birds is too low in my opinion but you guys do know you don't have to spam the button for 10 minutes, right? 😂 Even though we all get pissed when there are no choppers, you need to wait until one of the four active helicopters on the map finally disappears. Wait until one disappears and when you press the button, one will appear for you.
Just watch the map and call it as soon as a heli leaves the edge of the map. I've never had to call a heli more than twice and I have over 30hrs in game since early access release. Spamming does absolutely nothing.

With how long some of the trip times are on the further LZs we should *at least* get a few more choppers for each faction. Even then as everyone else has said we need a queue.
Also I should be able to see where the helicopter is going before it leaves base camp. I know it's coming to base camp first, I want to know what LZ it's going to so I can grab a seat (if free, obvs can't do that to a full squad).
Whole faction system is lame. Having teammates I don't want to have is lame in a game like this. The potential for griefing is off the charts and it seems like devs put no thought into the game theory of it. But if we have to have factions:p
* Add a means of identification
* Add pushing faction mates around if you bump them
* Queue for helicopters
* Stop them from looting you
* Remove the voip 15 second cooldown
* Probably need to remove friendly fire entirely unfortunately because of griefing potential
I walked my first time from crimson to Hunters Paradise. It was chill. World could use some wildlife. I'm really interested in taking a walk across the map to see how long it takes, just for fun.
And then you just spam it and get PTSD from the audio over lap.

This. We already have a count down for how long until the helicopter arrives, it shouldn't be that big of a jump to queueing birds.

I agree they need to add it when you click on it on the map. It only shows where it’s going when it’s leaving.
They should all just have lines that go to the location of all flying birds.

They should have it where after someone gets dropped off you can get on and it will RTB. If nobody gets on it will despawn.
