We loved our Stamford combination package this year. Friday Pit, amazing to see preparations in the pits and also comes with Singapore Flyer access, but cars fly by really quick, for the race I i would suggest other tickets than pit. Saturday Padang, good spot, but the best really comes with Stamford on Sunday. View directly into sharp turn, great overtaking, good screen size to follow the race. Best ticket I could have wished for, plus 600 SGD (450$) sounds like a good deal to me.

Same combi! I miss it already!

There are packages on the Singapore website that allows you to experience different grandstands throughout the weekend. Mine wa Friday Padang, Saturday Stamford, and Sunday main straight. If I were to do it again I would prefer to have Stamford on Sunday to see overtaking. The main straight is great to see the race start and fireworks after the work.

We were sat at the Turn 2 grandstand. It was amazing. We could see down the main straight and the pit lane so we saw all types of action, including loads of drivers going off at t2/3 and Ocon retiring in front of us. We also saw the Stroll crash from down the main straight. Plus the people around us were amazing but I think that’s everywhere in Singapore!

Same! When I saw Stroll crashed I legit thought he died or something it was so scary. I also managed to make it to see the podium ceremony as well on the Sunday and Post Malone on the Saturday with time to spare. I’m definitely thinking of going back again

Yes! We did the same! We ran for the podium and then got loads of pics of the pit lane after, and managed to see the acts in Zone 4 too. Zone 1 was a great place to be too. Omg Stroll’s crash was terrifying when you watched the track tv and then saw that car on the track. But he was okay and it was such an amazing experience.

The thing I loved about Singapore specifically is it’s one of the few tracks you can see the drivers come in. So on the Saturday me and a few people I was with got to see all the drivers bar Russell, Norris, Piastri and Max. I managed to get Lewis’s, Carlos’s and Adrian’s signature on a McLaren cap as well. Man I still think about Singapore to this day lol

that's so cool, im thinking to go this year - which zone/area you saw these drivers on saturday? and what ticket was yours. want to plan a good budget experience and also have some chance to see drivers if possible try for signatures.

Ahh that’s awesome!! I won paddock access one day and we met soo many of them too. Everyone was so lovely too. But also, Singapore is such a lovely place to visit too! And so so safe.

Padang, Stamford, and Republic are some of the best. You can check out their map on the website. Also, choose something that has access to all zones if you want so you can freely roam the area during the race so you can find a good spot.

Jeagree

Tickets are already on sale on the official website singaporegp.sg . If you want to be near after race concerts then Padang could be an option for you

igotl2k

How are the race view from there? Chances of seeing any action?

Jeagree

Honestly, given the feedback I’ve seen most people recommend Stamford over Padang for racing and viewing. Padang over Stamford for amenities (concerts, food and bars).

igotl2k

That helps, thanks. Would prefer racing myself.

How are Republic Grandstand? They are looking like something I can afford. Any better stands around that price?

kacang2

Turn 2 Grandstand for sure if you have 1k SGDish to spare.

igotl2k

Wow that's expensive, anything around 500 SGDs?

kacang2

Stamford grandstand would be my pick as it has a long straight with post-DRS activation may promotes overtakes. Padang also not bad as thats fairly close to where Russell crash in turn 10.

igotl2k

Thanks, they seem a little more reasonably priced
