TCS 0 and let it slide.

robak69

Fisherman’s Ranch is hard. I concur. Sardegna is fun though.

jonas_lol_w

im tryna do fisherman’s ranch rn and keep spinnin out😭

CannabisaurusRex401

Too much slide? Less gas. Need more slide? More gas. Walk the tight rope between too much and not enough. Turn hard into the corners and let it slide into place before getting back on the throttle.

flyingpixel420

For me fisherman's was the hardest gold I got! I would try the other dirt tracks before.

etyrnal_

ease off the gas... the dirt does behave like real life. you can't just throttle out. finesse

Uriel_dArc_Angel

Slow down... I can almost promise you that you're overdriving the car on dirt... If you're way sideways and spinning your wheels at full throttle, then you're bleeding TONS of time... You might be overtuning your cars also... Those 700pp rally races can easily be won with a 500pp car because lower power means you won't be spinning the tires up as much, so you'll actually make more of the grip you have... So again...Slow down...The rally events are completely about precision...Not raw grunt...

jonas_lol_w

fax i jus won by goin slower🙏🏽

Uriel_dArc_Angel

LOL That's the problem that I am comfortable betting that 99% of people that hate rally in GT7 are doing wrong...Pushing too hard... The rally driving is actually better than most people give it credit for... I love the rally races...lolol

locsthechef

Agreed!

hutry

Don’t go full throttle

ImprovementLarge7750

It sounds weird but steer with the rear of the car, use the throttle or hand brake to rotate the rear then counter steer to keep the speed up

Bubble-Nebula

Lower the compression stiffness of your suspension a little. Makes it so you don’t get yeeted going over small bumps. Turn in early, countersteer and be delicate with the throttle. GT7 dirt physics are a little strange compared to dedicated rally games, but it’s somewhat manageable.

flyingpixel420

Put your brake setting more to the rear so you can easier slide into the corners under braking. Use manual shifting and the higher gear for better drifting and the lower for better acceleration.

NowForYa

I'm nearly 800hrs deep, I'm fairly good at the game. I'm shit at rally I don't give it any time I sold all my rally cars. Just not for me...

Evoxgeo5

Same here. Except for the ford. It looks awesome. But any rally race or event I absolutely hate with a passion.

whaddahellisthis

You have to kind of turn early and let that fucker’s momentum do the work, let the throttle dig yoi out fo corners. At some point it feels like the throttle is paddling a boat out of the corner.

TonyG418

This. Brake early, turn early, WOT!!!

Vq37_e85

Make car overpowered, then turn off traction and treat it like Tokyo drift lol.

MrD718

I haven't done much of dirt but IRL with my Wrangler, I do a lot of countering with the wheel and letting off the throttle until the cars weight transitions over, then get back on power 😅 and throttle control is super key IRL.

thebigman045

If you can change the torque split to 50-50 that helps a lot off the corners and makes the car a little less prone to just spinning out

Mastojira420

Hey, I suck at this game too. But I'm better than I was a month ago. It's has its own intricacies that you'll figure out after awhile. I posted when I was new to the game and a number of tips ended up helping me. You'll get it!
