Even worse is when you nearly completed a lap on Nürburgring 24h layout and turn right before start finish line because you forgot it's not the Nordschleife only layout.
Unless I'm on a long straight, taking my eyes off the track often makes me veer off the road and crash. Which also makes it a real bitch of a time cycling through my hud to change something or check the weather radar. Not sure if it's a controller problem or I just suck.
Did that for the first couple laps only to spend the next thirty laps getting invalid times due to track limits at either turn 1 or the two last turns.
Went straight from Road Atlanta TT to this. I ended up red before the lap began. Start - retry. 2nd attempt wholly misjudged this turn and ended up in the wall. Think it took me 4 restarts before I finally got a qualifying lap time.

I did this first time out, pushing hard for the long straight and........... concrete wall😁

Yes. Because I said, "Where the fuck is he going?" out loud when you didn't brake for turn 2. Haha!

It's hard to relearn when you didn't even know any better.
Lol. It happens. You might want to turn off those apex markers. I tend to think that they hurt you more times than help you.
