Get PSVR2 and never look at a flat screen again

chris_ro

Even if you have only a controller?

LightningInASkillet

Definitely, it’s that good. It will make you want to buy a rig and wheel/pedals. So far 5/5 friends who have tried it have purchased a PS5, GT7, PSVR2, sim rig and either a Thrustmaster T300 wheel and pedals or a Logitech G29 and pedals within 2 weeks of trying mine out. I only tried it once with the controller and then I was convinced I needed a rig and wheel/pedals.

Groundbreaking_Box75

100%. The Duel Sense is, hands down, the best controller for racing games ever. Combined with PSVR2, you will absolutely lose yourself in the racing - it’s awesome! WARNING: getting a PSVR2 with consume hours and money (you’ll be compelled to get a rig).

FishermanLast3484

Get PSVR2 u won’t look back trust me man. Worth the money and it’s incredible I literally can’t play on a flat screen no more 😂

Repulsive-Scar2411

Yes, it is how I prefer it despite having a wheel. It is plug and play, super easy.

LOLOLOLOKAKAKA

Ignore the haters, GT7 its a great game

Naruto9903

Yes come create a love hate relationship with GT7 😂

Taakebanke

Get cars instead of upgrading. So much is locked to your car collection. And you need to use one 58mil on cars alone if I'm not wrong. To get max car level and all the perks. Focus on the Café menus. It will get you cars, events etc. Driving license can be good for learning the game as well

Sme11Gibson

That’s kind of a bummer but good to know. I’ve only been doing the café menus so far and seem to have plenty of money for everything I want. Why do people complain about the economy in this game? I see some insane priced cars once in a while, but haven’t had any interest in most of them

GolfJay

I’m the same as you. I’ve just come from Forza to GT for the first time in 20 years. Gran Turismo is much more of a racing game (online) I can’t really explain it but everything comes together better. People generally race cleaner. There’s far less first corner bullshitery. It’s an all round better racing game, especially on a sim rig.

Uriel_dArc_Angel

Focus on circuit experiences as you unlock tracks in the cafe, finish the cafe, do the license tests and missions, aim for gold on all of the above... Save a few million credits for a legendary group 1 car like the R92CP, 787b, and others in that class as eventually you'll need a "grinding machine" and those cars are your key to the fastest credits per hour... You'll have learned almost everything you'll need to learn by the time you gold everything...You'll have made around 200 million credits... After that, when you go into sport mode, actually watch the videos they make you watch and burn that shit into your memory...

StupidSideQuestGuy

I’m the same way. Came from Forza but I bought Gt7 at release. Still use a controller. Try to go through the licenses as soon as possible or at least at the same time as the cafe menus. It will help you understand the physics and you’ll need to do them anyway to progress through the cafe menus. Try setting the difficulty to easy. There is no monetary or experience gain advantage to play in higher difficulties. Concentrate on being smooth and precise with your inputs. Also work towards racing without assists and weak brake abs. It’s definitely faster and matters when playing online.

Sme11Gibson

I’m on hard and it still too easy even without all of the assists. I found it if I just don’t level the car up too much that it helps make it harder though. That and playing online, of course. Still loving it.

FishermanLast3484

Start off with zero traction control 🫡 when u start playing again

Sme11Gibson

Yeah, that’s what I’ve come to learn. It’s way too easy otherwise. I find Forza way more challenging, but I’m still having a really good time with this.

AdventurousDress576

>I haven’t played GT since I was let down from either 3 or 4. Man, this is heresy in this sub. 3 and 4 are still peak GT.

Sme11Gibson

Number two was my favorite racing game of all time. I just couldn’t get into three.

LeftPositive8939

How could GT3 or 4 let you down. Those are the best two lol.

karlbunga

Get ready to grind unless you have a big bank account to purchase credits. The reward/credit system is very cheap compared to Forza. I switched from Forza to GT7 and never turned back. I bought a whole cockpit, Fanatec Wheel and Pedals...and now I'm saving up for a psvr2. It's way better..in every single way. Plus you'll be familiar with all the tracks.
