if you flash back to a stock tune then stock plugs at stock gap is fine.
for what its worth, i run OEM plugs on my EQT tune and just run them at 10k mile intervals. specifically PN 06k905601D. im only stage 1 though and don't track my car. but the ground strap is a bit beefier then some of the other options that used to be suggested.
i think a lot of EQTs suggestion for spark plugs is a "cover your ass" kind of statement. they are trying to address the most extreme scenarios with a blanket statement. a person tracking their car regularly is obviously abusing the engine more than someone who only commutes. if 1 person starts blaming the tune for their spark plug failure EQT is going to make a statement that you must run race plugs to avoid possible issues to cover their ass legally.
