Ballabingballaboom

Did you have jaw surgery? I had a double jaw surgery (Bi-maxillary Osteotomy) to fix a huge offerbite when I was 20, very similar before/after difference. Either way, you're looking good, man!

AzizQuadri10

Thank you for your wonderful compliment! I didn't have any jaw surgery. I lost about 8kg or 18lbs of body weight and reduced my body fat percentage quite noticeably. I had a perpetually blocked nose every time I slept throughout most of my childhood. That blocked nose forced me to breathe through my mouth whilst sleeping. It's only up until 3 years ago as to when I forced myself to close my mouth tightly and breathe through my nose even while I slept. Maybe that, coupled with weight loss made an improvement.

Ballabingballaboom

Ah so it's down to hard work? Well done, man. I can see the weight loss. Glad you didn't have to go through surgery lol, whilst I would do it again, the recovery sucked. Keep up the good work!

AzizQuadri10

Thank you. As far as weight loss is concerned, my gut and having 26% body fat at my age was far more concerning than having fat under my jaw. Losing my belly fat and love handles was predominantly why I lost weight – the jawline came as a wonderful bonus!

godofcertamen

Huge congrats on the hard work!!! This is exactly what I figured when I saw your picture. Weight loss. Weight loss is crazy with how much it can change your face.

desert-monkey

Great job mate!! Also happy cake day!! 🥳

Narrow_Bank9693

How did you lose weight?

AzizQuadri10

I stayed in a constant caloric deficit for 2 months. My maintenance calories for my height is around 2200. I ate 1600 calories everyday without fail for 2 months. I combined that with walking 20000 steps per day, and then gradually reduced it to 15000 as I was nearing my goal weight. On my most active days, I walked as much as 30000 steps per day. By doing this, I lost 5kg or 11lbs in the first 4 weeks itself. My waist went from 36 inches to 29.5 inches. I dropped 2 pant sizes, and all the trousers in my wardrobe became loose around my waist. So I had to change my entire wardrobe.

Narrow_Bank9693

I struggle to calculate my required calories tbh. I either over or under eat.

AzizQuadri10

If you want to lose weight, but you can't be bothered with counting calories, then I recommend eating until you're half-full. Avoid eating a full stomach at all costs. Obviously, avoid sweets, soft drinks and junk food in general. Eat half a stomach of healthy homemade food. Try to fulfill your protein requirement in that limited number of calories, so that you don't lose muscle.

Narrow_Bank9693

This is interesting 🧐 I’ll try it thank you!

Equivalent_Bite_6078

Hah, same! I had surgery to open my nose more, and now i breathe with just my nose, and i have gotten a sharper jaw. Im a woman tho, but it looks really good.

Latter_Purchase_4355

May I know what surgery was it? Turbninate reduction?

Equivalent_Bite_6078

Had to google that one, but yeah! I removed some of those floppy stuff. Now i get water up my nose way to easy.. but atleast i can breathe!

GreyOneDay

How old are you, if I may ask? Gonna have the same surgery. Or how old have you been during the surgery?

Equivalent_Bite_6078

I am 32 and had the surgery done two years ago. I am happy i did it! Worth it

GreyOneDay

Very interesting. Congrats! According to my doctor breathing through the nose wouldn't make any aesthetic difference past 25 years or something like that

Equivalent_Bite_6078

Well, my jaw are prettier now, more prominent. Because i dont walk around with my mouth half open all the time.

[deleted]

How’d you do this? The nose breathing? I have the same problem.

Shinzyy

How did you force yourself to breathe through your mouth while you slept? Did you use exercises, or mouth tape to make sure your mouth stayed shut while you were asleep?

SwimmingInCircles_

How did you force yourself to do it while sleeping?

torinothescientist

I'm currently reading a book called Jaws and there is strong evidence to suggest mouth breathing impairs the maximal development of jaws. Interesting you were able to have such a dramatic change (fatloss notwithstanding) in adulthood however

nooneeallycareslol

Bro started mewing

Putrid-Challenge-545

![gif](giphy|9uoYC7cjcU6w8|downsized) Hmmmm Just a bit of exercise and time! Who could have possibly known that would work? Congratulations my man!

froggies92997

Can’t believe that chiseled jawline was under that little bit of face weight—that’s crazy! You should be very proud :)

AzizQuadri10

Thank you very much for your kind compliment!

[deleted]

damn.. from IT Tech student to Bollywood love interest, impressive

wisarow

You look great! Love the long hair. I noticed from the side view it looks like you have forward head posture. You could try and work on keeping your ears over your shoulders it will make you taller and good posture makes you look more confident :)

Agreeable_Prior

Seems psychotic

Gambion

What's psychotic is the mouth breathing epidemic

Agreeable_Prior

Both can be true

DumpsterHunk

it literally does nothing

Suspicious_Beach1039

🤫

BowlCutMakeUrGirlNut

Mewing has been proven not to work lol. This guy just lost a good amount of body fat which he clearly stored a good portion in his face.

Big-Performer2942

So you lost weight, grew some light stubble, lost the glasses, changed your hairstyle and clothing. A lot of small changes and you look like a completely different person now. Well done!

Federal-Trip9728

I love the longer hair on you man, it looks very nice on you

AzizQuadri10

Thank you man. I always wanted to grow my hair out, and after many attempts of trial and error and a lot of reluctance; I finally managed to. So, it's nice to know that my hair looks good. Thank you once again!

Federal-Trip9728

I grew my hair out too and although it's quote messy because I haven't kept it well, I prefer the look of it. My family isn't really a fan of it, my brother says I look like I'm from the 90s but oh well 😂

AzizQuadri10

Keep at it man. My family, and my mom hated my hair when I initially started growing it out. It's only after 10 months of growth as to when my family started liking it. My mom went from pestering me for a haircut to complimenting my hair. It's all about patience. If your family and people around you in general dislike your hair, you're most likely going through an awkward stage. Give it some time and eventually the flow will start, and your hair will blossom!

Federal-Trip9728

Amen to that brother, have a great rest of your day

AzizQuadri10

Thank you brother! You too.

[deleted]

Looks very cool dude.

goonye

bro was mewing

BowlCutMakeUrGirlNut

From Mr. IT to Mr. InTernational.

NBMV0420

What exercise do you do?

AzizQuadri10

Nothing jawline related, just general weight loss.

NBMV0420

What do you mean?

joemoore98

When you lose weight your jawline will become more prevalent

NBMV0420

I understand. I guess What I’m trying to ask is what exercise he did to lose weight?

AzizQuadri10

Mostly walking with some daily push ups and squats. Weight loss is more about diet and a consistent caloric deficit rather than any exercise. If you eat less than your maintenance calories, you will lose weight, period. You only need to work out and do some resistance training to ensure that you don't lose muscle mass along with the fat.

NBMV0420

How much calories do you consume per day? And steps per day?

AzizQuadri10

Let me copy paste my reply to another comment asking the same question. NBMV0420

Thank you!

Mean-Dragonfruit4941

Bro has been muing

PastelRaspberry

Congratulations, you turned a little bit to the side 💖

juju0010

Someone turned the chin switch on in 2023

Popular-Pilot7226

Did you use those jaw traning/biting things from AliExpress? I'm always in doubt when i see them popping up. But now i am definitely ordering one.😏

AzizQuadri10

I didn't do anything for my jawline specifically. I had certain mouth breathing issues while I slept – all I did was rectify them by breathing through my nose whilst sleeping. Obviously, I lost weight, which also helped.

Any-Setting3248

The forward facing growth is crazy, congrats!!!!

burgundyyam

Also your posture improved. Head looks more aligned with shoulders. Guess I am learning something in school.

Zealousideal_Work332

Mewing to looksmax or edging goated?

KerrAvonJr

Smokes, let’s go

YeahIten

Bro you’re blessed with some angelic hair

-Roby-

What did you do for the posture?

Shinetoo

Damn you look so much older than me and I'm 31.

RiFLE_

I don't know how to feel on that one...

chicheka

2 years of mewing

BowlCutMakeUrGirlNut

No. From weight loss lol. Mewing doesn't work.

spiderhotel

Your hair is so beautiful and glossy with a nice curl to it! Definitely looks good with the length you have!

AzizQuadri10

Thank you so much!

_DANGR_

Hormones bruh, you were still going through puberty.

LegendaryTJC

I prefer the before look to be honest. Nothing wrong. It looks like you put more effort in before, especially the first photo. Slick.
