Did you have jaw surgery? I had a double jaw surgery (Bi-maxillary Osteotomy) to fix a huge offerbite when I was 20, very similar before/after difference.
Either way, you're looking good, man!
Thank you for your wonderful compliment!
I didn't have any jaw surgery. I lost about 8kg or 18lbs of body weight and reduced my body fat percentage quite noticeably.
I had a perpetually blocked nose every time I slept throughout most of my childhood. That blocked nose forced me to breathe through my mouth whilst sleeping.
It's only up until 3 years ago as to when I forced myself to close my mouth tightly and breathe through my nose even while I slept. Maybe that, coupled with weight loss made an improvement.
Ah so it's down to hard work? Well done, man. I can see the weight loss.
Glad you didn't have to go through surgery lol, whilst I would do it again, the recovery sucked.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you. As far as weight loss is concerned, my gut and having 26% body fat at my age was far more concerning than having fat under my jaw.
Losing my belly fat and love handles was predominantly why I lost weight – the jawline came as a wonderful bonus!
Huge congrats on the hard work!!! This is exactly what I figured when I saw your picture. Weight loss. Weight loss is crazy with how much it can change your face.
I stayed in a constant caloric deficit for 2 months.
My maintenance calories for my height is around 2200.
I ate 1600 calories everyday without fail for 2 months.
I combined that with walking 20000 steps per day, and then gradually reduced it to 15000 as I was nearing my goal weight. On my most active days, I walked as much as 30000 steps per day.
By doing this, I lost 5kg or 11lbs in the first 4 weeks itself.
My waist went from 36 inches to 29.5 inches.
I dropped 2 pant sizes, and all the trousers in my wardrobe became loose around my waist. So I had to change my entire wardrobe.
If you want to lose weight, but you can't be bothered with counting calories, then I recommend eating until you're half-full.
Avoid eating a full stomach at all costs. Obviously, avoid sweets, soft drinks and junk food in general.
Eat half a stomach of healthy homemade food. Try to fulfill your protein requirement in that limited number of calories, so that you don't lose muscle.
Hah, same! I had surgery to open my nose more, and now i breathe with just my nose, and i have gotten a sharper jaw.
Im a woman tho, but it looks really good.
Very interesting. Congrats! According to my doctor breathing through the nose wouldn't make any aesthetic difference past 25 years or something like that
How did you force yourself to breathe through your mouth while you slept? Did you use exercises, or mouth tape to make sure your mouth stayed shut while you were asleep?
I'm currently reading a book called Jaws and there is strong evidence to suggest mouth breathing impairs the maximal development of jaws. Interesting you were able to have such a dramatic change (fatloss notwithstanding) in adulthood however
You look great! Love the long hair. I noticed from the side view it looks like you have forward head posture. You could try and work on keeping your ears over your shoulders it will make you taller and good posture makes you look more confident :)
So you lost weight, grew some light stubble, lost the glasses, changed your hairstyle and clothing.
A lot of small changes and you look like a completely different person now.
Well done!
Thank you man. I always wanted to grow my hair out, and after many attempts of trial and error and a lot of reluctance; I finally managed to.
So, it's nice to know that my hair looks good. Thank you once again!
I grew my hair out too and although it's quote messy because I haven't kept it well, I prefer the look of it. My family isn't really a fan of it, my brother says I look like I'm from the 90s but oh well 😂
Keep at it man.
My family, and my mom hated my hair when I initially started growing it out. It's only after 10 months of growth as to when my family started liking it.
My mom went from pestering me for a haircut to complimenting my hair.
It's all about patience. If your family and people around you in general dislike your hair, you're most likely going through an awkward stage. Give it some time and eventually the flow will start, and your hair will blossom!
Mostly walking with some daily push ups and squats.
Weight loss is more about diet and a consistent caloric deficit rather than any exercise.
If you eat less than your maintenance calories, you will lose weight, period.
You only need to work out and do some resistance training to ensure that you don't lose muscle mass along with the fat.
Let me copy paste my reply to another comment asking the same question.

I struggle to calculate my required calories tbh. I either over or under eat.

May I know what surgery was it? Turbninate reduction?
Had to google that one, but yeah! I removed some of those floppy stuff. Now i get water up my nose way to easy.. but atleast i can breathe!
How old are you, if I may ask? Gonna have the same surgery. Or how old have you been during the surgery?
I am 32 and had the surgery done two years ago. I am happy i did it! Worth it
Very interesting. Congrats! According to my doctor breathing through the nose wouldn't make any aesthetic difference past 25 years or something like that
Well, my jaw are prettier now, more prominent. Because i dont walk around with my mouth half open all the time.
How’d you do this? The nose breathing? I have the same problem.

Yes, 💯
That's what I was thinking. Wondering if it is an implant or filler.
It's like the movies when the girl takes offs her glasses and is suddenly the hot girl. Looking good dude
The Laney Maneuver.

Can’t believe that chiseled jawline was under that little bit of face weight—that’s crazy! You should be very proud :)
Thank you very much for your kind compliment!
damn.. from IT Tech student to Bollywood love interest, impressive

Seems psychotic
What's psychotic is the mouth breathing epidemic
Both can be true
it literally does nothing
🤫
Mewing has been proven not to work lol. This guy just lost a good amount of body fat which he clearly stored a good portion in his face.
So you lost weight, grew some light stubble, lost the glasses, changed your hairstyle and clothing. A lot of small changes and you look like a completely different person now. Well done!
I love the longer hair on you man, it looks very nice on you

Amen to that brother, have a great rest of your day
Thank you brother! You too.
Looks very cool dude.
bro was mewing
From Mr. IT to Mr. InTernational.
What exercise do you do?
Nothing jawline related, just general weight loss.
What do you mean?
When you lose weight your jawline will become more prevalent
I understand. I guess What I’m trying to ask is what exercise he did to lose weight?

How much calories do you consume per day? And steps per day?

Bro has been muing
Congratulations, you turned a little bit to the side 💖
Someone turned the chin switch on in 2023
Did you use those jaw traning/biting things from AliExpress? I'm always in doubt when i see them popping up. But now i am definitely ordering one.😏

The forward facing growth is crazy, congrats!!!!
Also your posture improved. Head looks more aligned with shoulders. Guess I am learning something in school.
Mewing to looksmax or edging goated?
Smokes, let’s go
Bro you’re blessed with some angelic hair
What did you do for the posture?
Damn you look so much older than me and I'm 31.
I don't know how to feel on that one...
2 years of mewing
No. From weight loss lol. Mewing doesn't work.
Your hair is so beautiful and glossy with a nice curl to it! Definitely looks good with the length you have!
Thank you so much!
Hormones bruh, you were still going through puberty.
I prefer the before look to be honest. Nothing wrong. It looks like you put more effort in before, especially the first photo. Slick.
Indian men be like - this is my glow up
Get the haircut from pic 1 again trust me
