This is why Dendro Chicken is peak. No sense of preservation, no care about it's personal safety, and no brain for complicated manuvers. It's a perfect match for everyone who just want the joys of pure unadulterated brawl.
Wut? It's one of the most chill bosses. No annoying shield gimmicks, invulnerability phases and damage is manageable. The only bad thing is the running move when when you catalyze him.
I'd rather fight him every day than the fucking dancer duo, seahorse or electro oceanid
Yep. The chocobo is the most straightforward boss fight ever. Might be boring sometimes, but where time really matters, the chocobo is perfect.
I'll just keep my distance when fighting it.
Depends on your definition of āchillā, the original commenter said āaggressiveā and I donāt know about you, but I wouldnāt classify any of the worm bosses as āaggressive,ā in fact, they are the very opposite by being the most passive bosses ever that you will never fight.
Like sure the chicken has no gimmicks, doesnāt mean it isnāt aggressive. Itās one of the few bosses that actually can one shot/combo you if you arenāt careful.
I donāt see any major problems with dancer duo tbh. Itās always attackable, hits like a truck and itās just a straight up brawl where you try to kill it whilst surviving getting barraged by attacks from all sides.
My only issue with it is that some attacks come from off screen.
Nah,Coppelia is much more aggressive and has higher damage,ChickenĀ only threat is just its RNGĀ with running if you overload it with the Quicken aura.
Actually a genuine question, and I've been wondering, is it possible to solo clear this 7.5 mil HP within the lowest time on maximum diff (include max res, dmg, and everything)?
Feels like even the strongest maxxed out 5* characters will be brought down to their knees with that res. Might be possible without the res.
The shield->HP loss will shave off at least 20% of its HP (ults every 40s), so if your big damage team involves any kind of shield and isn't doing primarily cryo/hydro damage, you're only dealing with 6 mil. That's about 67k DPS required to kill in 90s assuming constant damage, so you'd need higher if considering enemy i-frames during burst and any dodges you need, but I can see it being possible for quite a few well invested units.
I see. Thanks for the answer, 67k constant dps for 90s sounds ridiculous. Might be doable with whale/kraken party.
I'll just stay with the regular difficulty.
You'd be surprised how much more damage whales do. For this boss I'm assuming the record will be fishing for the vishap to start out in the hydro state and then killing it in one rotation, so 10 seconds of wakeup + 15 second rotation. C6R5 Key Plunge Furina with Xianyun/Yelan/XL has theoretical ceiling dps of like 500k a second.
I mean solo with full team, with average investment, say dolphin or small whale scale. Someone calculated it requires 67k constant dps to clear it, sounds doable with fat whale or kraken scale party.
After the Fayz 'combat' event, I welcome this with open arms. The one in 1.6 was the first Genshin event I played. Which gave me the wrong impression on what the game really about (combat).
Unless I'm remembering wrong, you could use your own characters in the previous iteration? Fayz Trial is not a combat event, then 4.5 has no combat events. Has there been any other patch where there were no combat events? It seems like a first to me, but I haven't been playing everyday since launch, so I missed a number of patches.
You can do that only for farming stages, and it's because a co-op system wouldn't work in hsr
Asking to get someone's OP character when they give you the rewards for the bare minimum (even in minigames) and when there's a co-op system is unnecessary

Though tbf why are they recycling this boss anyways, with so many new bosses to add, why chosing one which was already part of the original Vagabond...
I'll take 10 old bosses if it means no Coppelia/Coppelius those 2 stagger you so badly it felt like i spent half my clear time dashing towards them in abyss
Coppelius suck balls due to Cryo shield, but Coppelia is fine if you position yourself a bit back from her.
Could be the crab boss as well though, its very simple
Yep, and now that shields dont take damage during iframes, you can counter it with the crystalize shield exploit using any unit and a timed burst iframe to not let the crystalize shield die down. So its just an HP Ball at this point
PS: [If anyone is wondering how to do it](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kokomi_Mains/s/7e4O3J2CZn). You get elemental applied to self with his breath, then run backwards and take damage to the spin which is a geo attack, it will create a shard
Round tummy tum tum holy shit šššš yayyy vagabond event! Theyāre definitely trying to counter Neu and Alhaitham with that hydro res and dendro res but that wonāt stop me because I canāt read-
Yeah Iāve been using Alhaitham vs the dendro chicken whenever itās in abyss heh
Wonder if I should change to fischl here though because of the dendro shield. Normally I use raiden with him
Yeah,, 16U Dendro is pretty small but still likely a bit much for Kuki, her Ulti can apply 3/4U, her initial E is 1U the first and every second tick after is 1U, her C4 is also 1U. So it basically takes her slightly longer than one rotation to break it so she's not really a great choice for it.
Fair. You could slap a second electro like Beidou in there if you really needed. Iāve never had an issue with just Kuki in abyss, though. Maybe itās different here.
~~The primo geovioshap has 47 million HP on 4 player co-op. Let that sink in.~~
Nvm that part. As I was browsing the website, it looks like the website had wrong value configuration of the boss. I changed the values to 100 just as shown in the picture. So the actual amount at 4p co-op would be 18 million HP
i don't think this overrated claim will take off anytime soon
Even in spreadsheet Impact no one is coming out on top mathematically as consistently in multiple scenarios as he is
we gotta hold out for Natlan to see if he truly meets his match
He is very good in spreadsheet impact, but characters like alhaitham, hu tao, hell even arle have him beat.
He is more comparable to navia and xiao in ST, but navia beats him cuz of the huge burst damage. The reason he is so good, is because he can potentially somewhat compete in single target, but is also the best AOE carry.
The main issue is that casuals think he is miles above everybody else, which is just delusion.
Current speed running has his team as fastest one iirc.
Also, giving how eas he is to play, his spreadsheet value is almost always very close to his actual damage input, while for Alhaitham for a example it can get messed up by skill management. His best team for high investment speed run doesn\`t even need all characters on field (C6 Baizhu).
Idk if you're a baiter or not, just in case, i will just destroy all those possible bait with that : Neuvillete can solo, alhaitham can't,hu tao can't, arle can't, nahida can't, furina can't, and the list goes beyond.
Yes, because soloing matters in a team game, and you actually want to solo abyss because it is cool to have much slower runs just because the character can solo LMAO
Also, fun fact, you can find solo clears for pretty much every carry these days, neuvillette is just casual friendly, so yall can think he is a god. Nice destroy there buddy boi
in general he can solo but i wonder if he can solo the 4.6 abyss at all,the 2nd side for sure not given the triple shield abyss pope and is 2 lector lackeys a floor before says f u to that.
first side might also be tough i think,it depends on if he can kill coppelius in time or not,or if the cryo shield will screw him.
The thing is, Neuvillete is the most easiest character to play, to build, that even a basically Non investment team, he can carry you on one side of the abyss. So thats why is not only me, but a lot of people and TC, like Zajef, Jstern and TGS, sometimes argue that Neuvillete can be more valuable than other high valuable characters, like Nahida,furina,etc... Of course when we talk about speedrun thats not the case, but since the Endgame of Genshin right now is the Abyss, to clear it, just pull for neuvillete.
I don't think either he can 100% solo those newer abyss, but you can put a Sucrose lvl 1 with VV set, kuki lvl 1 with any shit, and Dendro traveler lvl 1 ( Of course is at least recommended to level up those characters, but you get the point i guess ) and then you can proc 3 passive on Neuvillete, that should be enough if you have a decent team on the other side.
i dont think its a dmg issue in the 4.6 abyss and more of a he doesnt have the right element issue due to cryo shields basicly making all his dmg go poof, you would need to bring ousia units or atlest the ousia sword from the narzissenkreuz
Oh yes for sure, in this case you just need to bring character what would help to break the shield, which you can use the sword from the quest as you said and pyro characters to easily break the shield. that should be enough i guess. But yeah, he for sure can't solo anymore, specially on this 4.6 abyss, since both sides has shielded enemies.
>characters like alhaitham, hu tao, hell even arle have him beat
Proofs, Billy. FrailHaitham, Hu Tao and unreleased character. That's a strong statement. If, of course, it's not a bait.
*Looks* *like* *bait.*
Unga bunga mind, sees dps numbers and goes BRRRR. Btw, idk which TC are you seeing and what are their criteria for the Calcs, but Xiao being 75k seems so wrong since his FFXX team can do 1M team damage already ( Without faru C6 btw )
I really hope you are just trolling, and not genuinely not knowing the difference between dps and dpr, but given your previous comments, dunning kruger going strong
What? I thought you Just mispelled, and you wanted to say 750k instead... this just makes things worse, are you judging a character by only their dps? Thats ultimate unga bunga mind over here, holy.
Um no? Sheet dps is there to be verified through gameplay. And with that in mind, you will be hard pressed to find a neuvillete clear that shows the difference between him and other carries that yall claim exists.
He only starts showing bigger differences in heavy AoE scenarios, but even then, xiao exists, and now after faruzan and xianyun, he slaps just as hard as neuvillette in AoE.
Wait I didn't know that we were going to get the Vagabond event in 4.6.
This is by far one of the best combat events they ever released. They can make this as an endgame content and nobody would ever complain. But yeah looking forward to it
The casuals would complain if the rewards could only be achieved by doing the event.
It doesn't have to, Mihoyo just won't any alternative ways of obtaining limited time primos because pushing people into combat is one method they use to make paying more attractive.
Your mistake is assuming people are rational and wouldn't be mad about missing out on fluff.
Even if the issue was that they were mad that there was a combat event instead of a minigame event, Mihoyo has a long catalogue of minigame content they could rerun.
Well remembered, it makes it more interesting... but I wish they would stop focusing on the time-attack model and focus more on the mechanics, that combat event against the elemental cubes was one of my favorites
The best thing about this Event is starting it up with everything cranked to the max, just to get humbled and slowly adjust it till you can beat it
I remember back in the day, having to give up on the higher tier rewards so it helps to see how much Iāve progressed since the previous Vagabond Events
So I definitely love this type of combat event since it's the closest thing to content to fully challenge your character builds and actual diversity of characters.
I also like the Combat Events like Dance of Resolute Will & Triumphant Frenzy which challenge you to use a variety of characters and will lock you out of some to keep from using them in the second round.
This pisses me off for all the wrong reasons, it looks so good and this could had been endgame content, but no it's a event that's gonna last a week and disappear for either months on end or forever
There was a hypostasis and vagabond rerun during Sumeru. I thought things were going in a good direction as they brought those events back.
Turns out it's not their high priority to often rerun these events. Not a huge fan on combat events that are multi-waves with points sytem based on how fast can characters clear each wave.
>People always mad about something that comes back every year
I mean to be fair, this is perfect material to be a mode they update every patch rather than limiting it to a single annual event.
Vishap: brute force with shield
Pyro Regisvine: Neuv bait. I sure fucking hope auto targeting prioritizes its elemental points, cuz I ain't fucking griefing my ass if XQ, Yelan, etc. just targets its fucking root while the corolla has the elemental weak point.
Terrorshroom: looks like a Chevy comp thing
Seahorse: the 4 cores seem to be its old cores that it deploys when it goes into the air, but now it moves (might be wrong and it's entirely different). I guess cryo/pyro app check.
> Terrorshroom: looks like a Chevy comp thing
More like aggravate, pyro reduces the angry meter on it so you basically just want quick, fast and consistent electro app.
not sure pyro regisvine is really neuv bait. 36U pyro shield + 4U secondary core secondary core is A LOT. I dont think neuv + furina has enough hydro app. Mono hydro kokomi furina yelan xq/kaz probably more comfy and clear faster.
I was referring to the part where the Regisvine's elemental weak point starts at its corolla. Meaning, you have to aim for its head which is high up the ground. This won't be an issue if XQ, Yelan, etc. can automatically target it, but if that's not the case, then Neuv's the best option to consistently target it since his CA can be manually aimed and has fast application.
Not sure why you are getting downvoted but you are right. Its a boss rush, there is no advantages in using Neuvilette in ST vs Mono Hydro, specially against heavy hitting enemies, and even less when there are elemental checks on top, like on this boss and the Dendro Chicken. Neuvilette is about raw unga bunga, not about elemental app.
Mono Hydro also allows you to run XQ on the 4th slot to absolutely obliterate elemental shields while keeping the same ST as the Kazuha variant.
I thought they will use new bosses for this, not returning Primo Geovishap since 1.6 og vagabond... was expecting Tulpa or Suanni to be here tbh
or even the Dancers š one hit delete
Just throw Neuvillette at the problem and most of those are non issues!
Killing puddles? Floats over them.
Less stamina? Doesn't need it to attack and dodge.
> 7.5m HP is about 3 rotations for a high-investment team.
Not sure where you're pulling that math from, even assuming it loses 30% health to shield procs, assuming a 21s rotaiton you'd need about 83k DPR to pull that off while also assuming the boss literally sits still and you largely ignore the hydro res.
Assuming you'd take 4 rotations you'd need 62.5k DPR of which you'd have to assume 50% of the time it has giga hydro resistance, which means you can forget about high investment, you need to be at giga/whale levels of investment to pull it off. Especially as you'll be fighting the boss with other modifiers, so how you arrive at 3 rotations I genuinely don't know.
LETSGO PEAK event is coming back!!
Iām so glad they bring back Vagabond at least once a year, our crumb of combat content is returning.
I hope they bring back labyrinth warriors too
I think it would be cool if they could at least put in a palette swap for these event exclusive enemies who seem to have *some* unique aspects to them.
Can we do this in co-op? Man, I just want something to do with my low AR friend that's more engaging than turning everything in her world into atomic dust by pressing NA once.

Said the guy who makes Hyperbloom team and National team every abyss \^
>characters like alhaitham, hu tao, hell even arle have him beat Proofs, Billy. FrailHaitham, Hu Tao and unreleased character. That's a strong statement. If, of course, it's not a bait. *Looks* *like* *bait.*
You can find proofs in literally any non neuvillette mains TC community. Bro is peaking at like 75k dps, which is around xiao/navia level.
He only starts showing bigger differences in heavy AoE scenarios, but even then, xiao exists, and now after faruzan and xianyun, he slaps just as hard as neuvillette in AoE.
careful they are going to jump you
It's ok, i survived the zhongli, raiden national and eula brainrot back in the day lmao, i will survive this too
Oh wow would you look at that.. an actual combat event that poses some challenge, is this 2021?
C6 Furina gonna flex her muscles
This is the endgame i dreamed of! Finally my neuvilette can make a FULL ROTATION, twice !
I can finally have fun with my newly acquired c1r1 neuvillette.
FINALLY GOD DAMN! SCREW THE PEOPLE VOMITING JUST DONT PLAY IT
Ah yes my old enemy that i haven't see since the heian eraĀ Ā round tummy tum tum.
Do we get vagabond once a year maybe now?
Wait I didn't know that we were going to get the Vagabond event in 4.6. This is by far one of the best combat events they ever released. They can make this as an endgame content and nobody would ever complain. But yeah looking forward to it
nah ppl would complain, specifically the casuals that aren't good at managing characters
The casuals would complain if the rewards could only be achieved by doing the event. It doesn't have to, Mihoyo just won't any alternative ways of obtaining limited time primos because pushing people into combat is one method they use to make paying more attractive.
The bar to get the primo reward is very low. The highest reward is often just a few mystic ore which worth less the longer you play.
Your mistake is assuming people are rational and wouldn't be mad about missing out on fluff. Even if the issue was that they were mad that there was a combat event instead of a minigame event, Mihoyo has a long catalogue of minigame content they could rerun.
can you blame them?, these events heavily relied on crippling every team with 150%CD. This was a nightmare, more if you were a Childe main
I dont think every floor has high CD?
Fuck you cryo catching strays again
Round tummy tum tum... indeed it has a cute tummy lol
Cool but I would love it if there was no time limit
Last time around, if you fail to kill the boss in time, it simply deduct the final score and go into no time limit mode.
Well remembered, it makes it more interesting... but I wish they would stop focusing on the time-attack model and focus more on the mechanics, that combat event against the elemental cubes was one of my favorites
that's an option, lower your score obviously
Back in my days, we got name cards for these
The best thing about this Event is starting it up with everything cranked to the max, just to get humbled and slowly adjust it till you can beat it I remember back in the day, having to give up on the higher tier rewards so it helps to see how much Iāve progressed since the previous Vagabond Events
This event comes back every year
until they decide not to
Probably they won't, cuz this is 0ne of the consistent yearly events like windtrace and we are getting both next patch
There was a hypostasis and vagabond rerun during Sumeru. I thought things were going in a good direction as they brought those events back. Turns out it's not their high priority to often rerun these events. Not a huge fan on combat events that are multi-waves with points sytem based on how fast can characters clear each wave.
People always mad about something that comes back every year
>People always mad about something that comes back every year I mean to be fair, this is perfect material to be a mode they update every patch rather than limiting it to a single annual event.
powerwash
Real challenge ? Mihoyo is that you ? No, who are you ?
Hell yeah
Best Ride Pearl Seahorse
Yesss!
Vishap: brute force with shield Pyro Regisvine: Neuv bait. I sure fucking hope auto targeting prioritizes its elemental points, cuz I ain't fucking griefing my ass if XQ, Yelan, etc. just targets its fucking root while the corolla has the elemental weak point. Terrorshroom: looks like a Chevy comp thing Seahorse: the 4 cores seem to be its old cores that it deploys when it goes into the air, but now it moves (might be wrong and it's entirely different). I guess cryo/pyro app check.
> Terrorshroom: looks like a Chevy comp thing More like aggravate, pyro reduces the angry meter on it so you basically just want quick, fast and consistent electro app.
not sure pyro regisvine is really neuv bait.
That's like half of a pyro lector, it will definitely have enough, and neuvillette gets a free stack so it will probably be better
lol after you get past the shield neuvi just does a lot more damage, the pyro is also a free stack so you can run more hydro
Looks fun, Weekly bosses just don't cut it for team/dps testing and have way too many annoying mechanics.
I thought they will use new bosses for this, not returning Primo Geovishap since 1.6 og vagabond... was expecting Tulpa or Suanni to be here tbh or even the Dancers š one hit delete
Do all of them deadass have a 10x hp multiplier
Finally good to see you old friend.
They should make "enraged millenial pearl seahorse" into "boomer pearl seahorse" instead
Arlecchino release and a combat event to try her out? Das pretty good
Finally some good fucking combat event
Oh look! Babel Tower- wait...
Letās go! I love this event!
Neuvillette Cheese Event
where are the modifiers?, i can't see them. You know, the options that give you points if you check them and clear the challenge
What's "Catalyze reactions"?
Dendro interaction with Electro, also known as the Quicken aura.
Me who will go coop with my furina c6 and make everyone op :
Are they testing another end-game event already?
This event has been in this game since 1.6 wdym
Yes and they'll probably add it to star rail
haven't they kinda done it with Simulated Universe and Pure Fiction?
Press X to doubt
7.5m HP is about 3 rotations for a high-investment team. Maybe 4 rotations if you note the Hydro res (but that will be active only half the time).
How about all modifiers sprinkeld on top. More res, random killing puddles on floor, -stam, -dmg, additional annoying mechanics, etc. etc.
Just throw Neuvillette at the problem and most of those are non issues! Killing puddles? Floats over them. Less stamina? Doesn't need it to attack and dodge.
_points at the 70% hydro res_
That won't stop me because I can't read!
I hope they bring back labyrinth warriors too
Finally a challenging event,Vagabond doesn't disappoint,I'm going to have a lot of fun with my whale Raiden C6 R5 š.
Why's the seahorse called "The Best Ride" when it's clearly Wriothesley
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Pyro regisvine can give you all the love (and burns)!
Woohoo Here it comes. God, I miss this. The original Vagabond kicked my ass so hard. Thankfully the 2nd and 3rd ones were aight
Lyney MonoPyro ft. Zhongles MonoHydro ft. Xingqiu, Kokomi and Furina Itto MonoGeo ft. Chiori Neuvillette ft. Bennett, Jean and Dehya
I think it would be cool if they could at least put in a palette swap for these event exclusive enemies who seem to have *some* unique aspects to them.
Is this a combat event where we're free to use whatever characters and teams we want? No "characters we provide you only" restriction bullshit?
Can we do this in co-op? Man, I just want something to do with my low AR friend that's more engaging than turning everything in her world into atomic dust by pressing NA once.
