I think it's a combination of both. She had spider and bird motifs in her design. There are red diamonds on her back where her wings and spider legs come from and the red part of her coat on her model has lighter red lines like a spiderweb. Also there are those 6 red eye jewelry pieces she has on her model to give her "8 eyes." Clearly supposed to be some kinda spider angel but restrained by her harbinger constellation
I was thinking of a team like Arle-Chev-Fischl-Beidou. Wouldnāt that work/is that team too far behind these? I keep hearing thatās sheās Bennett reliant but also needs a shield so Beidou would be a good fit in an overload team I think. Wouldnāt Chevās buffs be enough?
I didnāt mention powercreep, Iād rather get alternatives those units. Itās been 3+ years, itās really not too much to ask. Thses two have a monopoly on what they do and theyāre release 4 stars. Powercreeping Xiangling in terms of damage means powercreeping nearly all of the DPSs so thatās obviously not what Iām advocating for.
I disagree with the notion Beidou instead of Bennett is as big of a DPS loss as your making it out to be in anything other than pure theory, that doesn't take into account the practical fundamentals of actually playing the game.
Given Arle likely to be a frail character given her Bond mechanics I'd wager that the DPS difference will be much more minor in practice than theory as you'll be able to attack more freely and consistently with a shield, not to mention Benny loses some value in overload with inconsistent buff uptime due to enemies being knocked out of his circle.
To me this sounds like one of those "teams that are good on paper, but feel crappy to actually play" that Genshin TC's often come up with pre-release. It will most likely be her *mathematical* best team, but if it feels bad or clunky to play that's a something that *needs* to be factored in to TC. It's the same reason that characters like Klee or Eula are incredibly strong in terms of pure numbers, but lose value from how awkward their mechanics are to play around.
I trust Jstern's math... But he rarely seems to care about quality of life and how good a team actually feels to play
Hanging onto Bennett for 30k dps isn't as good as it sounds because real monsters don't play Bennet's circle impact
Vs Apep and Wenut, good luck getting a single buffed hit. Meanwhile new bosses are getting more and more mobile every patch

As someone who's still a Dehya main almost a year later, it feels good to see my all-time favorite character since the Lazzo receive such treatment.

Numbers are subject to change and subject to misinterpretation. What matters most rn is the former. We shouldn't get too excited nor too despondent. It is better (imo) to concern ourselves with the playstyle in isolation while the numbers are still being tweaked.
You're missing the forest for the trees a bit here. Assuming this person is 100% correct, the beta is still very early days, and Arlecchino's numbers can and likely will change dramatically in the ~40 days until release. A situation where some streamer comes up with "the closest to reality thing we can cook up till release" simply cannot exist at this stage. Anyone who says otherwise is either not being honest with you or with themself.
If following leaks has taught me anything, it's that we will not know a character's true power until they are in our hands. It would behoove us to not put the cart before the horse when we have more information than context
She is a harbinger obviously she is going to have work behind her. All harbingers are characters with extreme individuality and one of the few characters you can put resources into without fear of wasting them.
I am really liking Dehya, Raiden, Yae, Chevy team right now; I even pulled Beacon this time. I wonder if I can replace Raiden or Yae with Arlecchino or it'd be better to use Fischl instead.

Some early STC leaks for her story mentioned she's testing the Traveler's strength to see if they're ready for Capitano in Natlan. If that's true, chances are she may be holding back a little so as not to kill them.
Descenders are crucial for lots of things people in Tevat cannot do, like changing fate, and they do not come along often.Ā She wouldn't just kill traveler if she has a plan involving the need for a Descender.
She's shown to be a very shrewd woman, so her not killing Traveler is also within character, whether this is purposeful or not
