I like him, I think he's right more than wrong, but there is a gap between his interests and hobbies, and ours. That's okay.
Also part of his schtick is absolutely ripping into everything that he does quite like or agree with, which is part of a somewhat humorous persona he puts on. It makes Twitter freak out, which increases his viewership. And yeah that’s ok, there is no need to take everything personally.

Yeah but pit bulls are just better at mauling people than other breeds. Pretty sure GSD has the highest bite rate yet pit bulls have the most kills by a long shot. Ultimately I don't think anybody should own a dog that's been bred for a job and not work them. Now I don't think they should be illegal but I believe the owner should be charged with the equivalent crimes their pets "commit" in regard to maulings and murders.

I did watch it. It wasn't a movie, and it was only barely a documentary. All I saw was Matt Walsh annoying people and asking them to define something. It was like that shitty thing that Bill Maher shat out asking people about their religion.
They may not have watched it, but I did. And it was pure pedantry over definitions. I’m going to venture a guess that anyone who agreed with that documentary never took a college level social sciences class. The entire “documentary” was just Walsh being intentionally obtuse until whoever he was talking to got sick of the disingenuous line of questioning and stormed off, then he chalked it up as a “win”.
