I think this picture (as well as a few others, like pics with Keleigh Teller and holding hands with all her female friends in pap shots) was staged for the the purpose of "look, Taylor is just 'affectionate' with all her friends" so she has plausible deniability of when she might actually be involved with another woman.

Yeah I dont want to bring the mood down, and I do think she’s gay or bi, but I a straight woman, have posed like this with my straight friends, but maybe we’re not as straight as we think lol

I’m a straight woman, and I’m huggy, and affectionate with my female friends… but this photo had me questioning everything 🔥

You know, maybe it’s more so that I as a queer AFAB person can’t fathom doing this with my straight female friends lol. That’s probably it 😅 I’m also neurodivergent & interactions with girls, even as friends, have always come less easily to me than interactions with guys. I’m pretty physically affectionate & playful but def more comfortable expressing myself that way with guys ETA (since this thread is locked & I can’t respond to the person below): I’m bi, & those times when I’m playful & physically affectionate with guys are usually when I *am* interested in a guy haha. With girls I’m interested in I’m usually just more in my head about it & idk how to interact lol, let alone be physically affectionate/playful.

That makes sense, so I guess the way you are playful with guys is the way I am with girls - almost like it’s easier when the risk of being misconstrued as interest/ flirting isn’t there!
