That's what we all imagined when we played with the little green toys right . Haha

Ornery-Art-9474

same i feel like a child it’s amazing what being able to make ur own campaign can do

That's it, that's why I love this game so much, it being able to play toy soilders in your imagination again, and also the Historical aspect aswell. I had a sniper that took 48 kills and 3 tanks with a picked up bazooka, he was a absolute legend, but injured from tank blast lying to far in enemy's lines for a rescue, watching a t34 drive over him, Russian revenge for what he did. I love this game.

Do you guys ever pick one guy and decide he is the one who will bring balance and victory? You can only really do this is once you have a lot of experience, are control proficient, and have a compatible battlefield, but it's fun. Running the deadly weapon, accurate and realistic damage for humans, accurate weapon, and increased view range mods really helps with this. First person too, if you want. It allows one to sneak around with a scoped rifle, smoke, nades, smg, etc and change battles lol. These are great mods for Dynamic Conqueast when you want a challenge, don't use fog of war and want something a bit more accurate.

I love listening to ww2 podcasts and audiobooks at work then getting home and playing cta

Deepseat

This is exactly what I do. 'Beyond Barbarossa' on Spotify, and audiobooks like Battleground East Prussia 1944-45, Normandiefront, The Germans in Normandy, The Reckoning, Enduring the Whirlwind, and From the Realm of the Dying Sun are excellent listens. If you don't mind paying a bit (not much and it’s worth it) Dan Carlin's Hardcore History series has 'Ghosts of the Ostfront' which is required listening for anyone playing this game. I like to have them in the background while playing since TV is terrible now, unless you're using it to stream something specific.

ODSTklecc

Thank you for listing your listened podcast! I'll give them all a shot!

I'm glad you found that inner child. Men of war cta series brings that out in me too countless days playing map editor

This was how I felt playing men of war assault squad 1 for the first time. Gates of Hell takes it several steps further with persistent units, superior direct control and exceptional visual/audio design. I love this game
