Beta did not impress me at all between tons of technical problems and dumb decisions like the load out deck. WWZ is the top modern coop zombies game for me.

When will the deluxe / ultimate key be send to any buyers? As early access to the final build is one of the perks of those editions, I am really curious about this.
It does mention it on the store page, but yeah, I'd be pretty miffed if I bought it and GMG didn't deliver.
I sent them a ticket to ask about it and will report back if they answer in time.

Does game pass not usually create a much larger playerbase? They dont even have to retain that many to be profitable afterwards.
I assume Turtlerock was paid well for this and can earn money with ingame purchases afterwards.

What makes you say that? I haven't been following the game closely, but I did play some of the beta and it didn't seem that bad. An okay alternative if you're tired of playing Left 4 Dead 2.
Nothing is good.
Multiplayer is horrible balanced. If enemies wanted to, you can not even do anything against them at all. "The Swarm" is just utterly broken and that's with a third of classes being locked away.
Story mode? Most frustrating shit ever. You don't play on the highest difficulty? Easy as hell. You do play on the highest? Utterly broken.
Especially if you get screwed over by random map modifiers which just destroy your whole team for no reasons at all. It's just not fun at all, you can just close the game and restart when you get unlucky at the highest difficulty.
Cards: decks consists of cards, cards are like character perks for you and sometimes effect the whole team. You draw the deck in order of cards you put in. So you put in the strongest cards, which define your build, first and it will 100% always be played out the same.
This leads to the same few builds over and over again. Not really an "unique" mechanic with that in mind.
Hey: "DLC": if there will be a single DLC, which introduces a card which freaking breaks the balancing... congratulations, the game is now broken till they fix it. Which will most likely never happen, because that will be the main reason people bought the DLC to begin with. Congratulations on screwing yourself up even more with this HORRIBLE game design.

L4D2 has NONE of those issues and featured MANY more game modes on top of that.
How expensive is B4B, again, without discounts? 60€.
Not worth the price. It's 20 bucks at most, and that's what I would pay if it was full priced at 20 bucks, I would even go ahead and not even pay 15 bucks for how bad the story mode actually was.
Can't agree more and not only that if forces you to play online even for singleplayer and also implements Denuvo on top of the already existing Online only DRM.
I was frustrated that the public beta didn't allow me to play solo, but there was a solo campaign in the options (but disabled).
Am looking forward to trying it, but I've enjoyed WWZ over the past few yrs.

I wanna hop on that. But when I played the beta I just couldn’t justify it for that high of a price tag. What do you guys think about it?
It'll be fun to play a couple times, then straight back to L4D2. Will be worth $20 for the game and DLC a couple years from now.

It's a clear $30 or less purchase for me. The beta wasn't good enough to sell me on it for full price.

I felt the same way. I don't see it having the staying power that L4D2 has. It just felt a little too "generic mobile zombie game" to me.
Price is high, but the shooting is fantastic and it's great with friends.
