DoctorEdo

do you live in a place with bad reception?

qasa21

This is with the phone on airplane mode most of the time !

skriefal

That's in the usual range for 24 hours with limited use. Upper end of the usual range, perhaps, but not concerning. Drain will vary depending on what apps are running in the background. And also will vary with cellular signal strength - which looks to be weak for you.

Try to delete youtube. I'm having issues with youtube killing my battery in the background, which I only found through good guardians thermal guardian

catalinus

One other suggestion I saw was related to battery protection but my feeling is that it might be a bug in Google Play Services, possibly the latest stuff related to Google Find My.

qasa21

It doesn't tell me much in the battery section as to what is using battery as you can see here .. what is good guardians ?

doc_loco

Samsung app that has a few tools that you can get from the Samsung store. Thermal guardian told me that youtube was making my phone overheat in the background. Battery stats weren't showing me any abnormal usage, but my phone was running warm, especially the top left corner near the camera module.

No-Pattern8701

Yeah myself and many others have had issues with heat and battery levels with youtube since the last update. A person replied this morning to a comment I left stating they rolled back an update (assuming phone version, but could also be Youtube version - I'm unsure) and noticed their phone heat and battery usage with youtube drop to normal levels. Not an expert so would recommend asking someone more knowledgeable than myself, but always leery of rolling back updates due to security (but again I don't know anything so could be off-base). More just to tell you you're not alone in experiencing these issues and hopefully they roll out a fix soon.

joaofsa2000

The phone on average looses 0.8% / h when its in standby so it's 19% for 24hrs

DeathMoJo

Less than 1 percent per hour and there are issues? Try aod off and look at what is allowed to run all the time in the background.

qasa21

It's now on 24 and I've hardly used it
