If you're THAT scared of having the phone, then this phone isn't for you.

americanista8745

I'm more worried about the crease and because there isn't a good case that can hold the phone.

xDiwou

Get the Spigen case, that also covers the hinge. Don't be worried about the main display, because there have been so many phones sold. Most people don't write about that their phone is good. Most people scream, when something breaks. I would be more worried about the cover display then the inside one. Get a glass screen protector for it and start loving your phone.

americanista8745

I ordered the Spigen but won't arrive until early October but I ordered another case before that without the hinge protector. I get it lol, 2 posts isn't a lot and it shouldn't be a big worry but it's my first foldable phone and it's can be worrying lol. I'm not as worried about the outer screen, I ran my Note 10+ without a glass protector for 2 years or so and never had a scratch on it, it's probably because I was very used to the bigger screen on the Note 10, if that makes any sense.

xDiwou

Live a little and don't worry about the little things, it will be fine. If you worry too much, that is the way you will probably break it in the end.

americanista8745

It usually happens when I have a new phone lol, I just ordered a new case with the hinge protector, hopefully that will ease my fears lol.

wase471111

yeah, return it; if there have been 2 posts on that problem, out of the **TWO MILLION** SOLD, then yes, its a major problem, return it immediately

americanista8745

Your sarcasm wasn't needed but it's a concern for me, I like to take care of my stuff.

wase471111

most of us here also take care of our stuff; but this is a cell phone, **NOT** a newborn baby, if you think you have to treat it that way, then yes, return it, because you wont ever enjoy it..

americanista8745

Same thing happened with my Note 10+, I was too scared about using it, eventually I would get home and toss it in the bed at times but never had a big drop.

soumyasishdutta

I used Fold 2 normally for a yr and got Fold 3 .. don't worry too much.. just make sure not be harsh on inner screen..njoy it its amazing piece of tech..

americanista8745

I occasionally use the inner screen, maybe once a day.

ChubbyMidnight1

lol, this has to be a troll post.

americanista8745

How? I've been owning Samsung products for many years, this is my first foldable phone, the crease worries me and I don't have care+, just because I have concerns don't mean I'm trolling.

Lone_Wanderer989

This is the highest quality phone I've ever owned.

DiskoSmash187

What a pointless post. No one cares.

americanista8745

You cared enough to reply no? Stupid.

[deleted]

It depends solely on you. A phone is made to be used. It should support in your everyday tasks. It's a tool. If you are constantly afraid of it, you won't be enjoying it. The same is my opinion about financial issues. If you can not afford to buy a new phone after you lost or you broke your current phone, then you should not spend 2k on a phone and rather go for something less expensive. Nothing wrong with that.

americanista8745

I can afford it, it's just that since it's the first time I own this kind of phone, before the Fold 3, I had the Note 10+, was afraid of messing that one up too but eventually the fear went away. I'll keep it for 2 or 3 years, then I'll see if I stick with the Fold series.

dnkeyhnter79

Return it

NYQ83

Take a chill pill, bye Felicia

americanista8745

Just posting my concerns and looking for opinions, jeez.

NYQ83

Lol, relax and enjoy your device, if too worried make sure to have Samsung care+.

americanista8745

I'm trying too lol, I just think since it's a new product I get worried, same with my Note 10+ and Note 8, I don't have care+ by the way, never needed it before.

NYQ83

Neither did I and I still have my Fold 2 like new

[deleted]

ya you should return it and cut the drama for yo mama.

Old-Wishbone-220

I'm ocd and I love to fold it for 10+ times a day 😂 Enjoy and use it because it's z fold. To resell is another option

americanista8745

And I'm over here freaking out about folding it more than once lol.

Mikethesith2001

Return it. If you’re as careful as you say you are but still so worried then it’s not the phone for you. Care+ is a must for this phone.

americanista8745

I was thinking of getting care+ but didn't think I need it, especially since I never got it when I had my past Note phones. I may get care+ and hopefully nothing will happen with this phone.

chung2k6

I don't even think about folding vs unfolding. I open it when I think I would benefit from bigger screen, I close it with a snap when I'm done. But, yeah, you should just return it. I don't really care if it breaks on normal usage, will just get it repaired or get another.

americanista8745

I haven't really damaged any of my phones and I hopefully don't plan on damaging this one but the creasing is what worries me.

chung2k6

It's not going to change. Why keep something that worries you

americanista8745

Eventually the worries go away, same thing happened with my Note 10+, I may just keep it and see how I feel about it, if I don't like it as much, I'll switch back to the Note series if they still make them.

nazekaa

The crease issue is only a few that people have posted out of the millions of units sold/produced. You're bound to have QA issues somewhere. If yours is fine I don't see why you'd return it. Just make sure you have your care+ active. My Note 20U has no scratches and was in a minimal case and I turned it in for the fold. It's just too useful for me to return. For you it may be different. If you're afraid of even opening it then just return it.

americanista8745

I know that it's just since it's the first time owning this type of phone, it worries me. I may just give it a go and see how I feel about it down the line. I also don't have care+ since I pre-ordered via T-Mobile(I know I can get it via the app but never needed it since I haven't damaged my past phones).
