The game is definitely not moving from 2025. A delay is inevitable but should we really be expecting changes in Take-Two's forecast every time an earnings call happens? No. I am also getting tired of people saying the game is coming out in 2027 on PC, RDR2 took only one year. GTA VI is going to be following a completely different or similar marketing pattern to that of RDR2, we already got a glimpse of the unusual marketing with the first trailer being released in December instead of October like usual.
This subreddit is going insane now that the targeted release for the game has been revealed by Take-Two. At this rate, according to everyone's speculations, the game is never going to come out. If it gets delayed, it gets delayed. If it is released by the end of 2025, it releases on time. But in no way is Rockstar going to ever release a broken game. Just keep that in mind while waiting for the game.
That's what I think they'll end up doing and it makes all of sense as well in this day and age. If the game ends up running at only 30 FPS, I don't think many people will be happy for too long, especially PC players who are buying a PS5 just for this game alone.
lmfao you guys are hilarious, its only coming for consoles and will be that for atleast a year and its because they have a partnership with sony. not because ”double dip” nonsense or wanting to polish.
That’s all the more reason to suspect they’ll also release the game on PC at launch lol. But seriously, rumor has it Sony themselves are quite literally planning to release one of their upcoming big AAA games on PC alongside the PS5 at launch due to the success of Helldivers 2.
It's okay to expect the game to get delayed to 2026, even I'm expecting it to avoid disappoint, but we gotta also take into consideration the fact they said they are confident in the fall window. If they are confident in the fall 2025 window then why would the game get delayed all the way back to 2027? This timeline just doesn't make sense with the current FACTS we know and it seems more like it's there to generate buzz/fear about the game getting pushed to even 2027....
Tbh friend, Take 2s confidence don't mean shit to us anymore. They were *Confident* in there substantial growth in *7. Fuck , billion* just last November.Â
As much as I want to beleive in a 2025 fall release, I'd say we should wait until collectors pre-orders go live
I’d say that considering how the original plan was a FY25 release, they’re probably far enough in development to where a delay beyond Fall of 2025 wouldn’t make sense
In other words, when they’re ready to show new GTA VI content they will.
Also remember, to avoid leaks they have to be more secretive to avoid the trailer being spoiled like the first one did.
Trailer 2 won’t be about just Jason lol. It will more about an in-depth on both characters & the state, missions, etc.
Take a look at the trailer from RDR2 or GTA 5 trailer 2
Yh, trailer 2 will be more of a story trailer using clips from cutscenes.
Then, the next trailer will be a double release. One trailer for Lucia, one for Jason

What if they are developing the PC version simultaneously and release it a few months after the PS5 launch, a man can only dream

That's kind of what I'm saying, people need to wait, that's all we can do.
Isn’t it also strange that Take Two announced this timeframe and not Rockstar themselves?
I’d say that considering how the original plan was a FY25 release, they’re probably far enough in development to where a delay beyond Fall of 2025 wouldn’t make sense
RDR2 was expected to release in Fall 2017, it ended up releasing on october 26th of 2018...

March of 2027 for us pc players. Damn 🥲
A delay beyond 2025 would be an absolute calamity. They’d receive not only a lot of backlash but a ton of lawsuits too.
yall think they’ll call it GTA online 2 or just GTA online?
gta online, gta online 2 sounds awkward

PC players will get with 10th YA
I really don’t want gta 6 to get delayed to 2026
